Selling advice please!

Posted By Robert Ellis

Just bought a Televue 11mm plossl and I need to know what eyepiece should I sell from the two Meade eyepieces I have. I have both the 9.7 and the 12.4mm's. Witch of the two should I sell vs keep? Don't need three within three to four mm.s.
Thanks for any help.

What Radain should I've bought?

Posted By Robert Ellis

I own a LX-90 f/10 and had an oportunity to buy either a 12mm or a 14mm Radain. I took so long to make up my mind that both were sold in a heart beat. Thinking back, the two of them are so close that I wonder of the two witch of them should i've bought? I've a 11mm televue plossl and a 15 televue plossl so herein lies the problem. Should i've gone after the 12mm or the 14mm, or just used the 11mm and the 15mm i've got?
thanks for any input in this. Indecision, did I do wrong?

Thinking of getting a "Big Binocular" need input.

Posted By Robert Ellis

I own a pair of 7 X 35 Bushnell binoculars and am interested in getting a larger pair for astro viewing. Here on Astromart I see two i'm interested in. First a 15 X 70 Oberwerk and second a Orion 20 X 70. What is the better binoculars to go after? There both in my price range and i've no expierence with binoculars other then general observations. I do own a LX-90 and use that often but wanted to expierence the joy of "excellent" astro viewing with a "good pair of binocular's".
Thanks for your help. Here I am a telescope user asking a newbie question. Appreciate you input..........

Meade Binoculars bought need some help!!

Posted By Robert Ellis

Howdy, I just picked up a pair of Meade 10X50 binoculars here on Astromart and the pair dosen't come with lenscovers and a hard/soft case. Where do you think I could buy these items? I can't find any for sale here on Astromart and would think that at least lenscovers are a must. These are full size armored binoculars and I want them to last.
Appreciate any help.

What Radian should I get???

Posted By Robert Ellis

I have a LX-90 SCT and have owned it for about a year now. I also own all the Televue plossl's from the 8mm to the 40mm along with the 2X Televue Barlow. I'm looking to upgrade to a Radian with Mars coming an I'd like to know what Radian should I go after first? At almost 200 bucks used here on Amart I have to go one at a time. Appreciate any help I can get.
Thanks

Looking to upgrade my Stock Diagonal

Posted By Robert Ellis

I own a Meade LX-90 8" SCT and am looking to upgrade my stock diagonal. Being that whatever I get must be small enough to let the SCT get to the zenith and of course it has to be a 2" with a 1.25" adapter. Any input with this decision would be helpful. Before I get any expensive eyepieces I think an upgrade to a better diagonal would be the way to go. Thanks people :-)
