NBC is calling it for Katie Hobbs. Looks like Fox News will be getting a new host

Like I posted earlier the Democrats built a blue wall and had MAGA pay for it.

Can’t believe how close these races have been. The country is truly divided, but at least the voters rejected crazy.

Isn’t it time for her to claim voter fraud? It’s a sure bet she won’t concede.

Umm, the voters, or at least a small majority of them, mostly showed the crazies the door.

But you just keep being you, just like your dear leader and MAGA brethren, and the Democrats will win again in 2024, even with an 82 year old fossil of a president.

I was going to bring up "Dodgeball Davis" earlier but got busy here at work.

Our favorite righty ranter and outrage machine Dodgeball Davis has only been back on the politics forum, at least as far as I can see when I do a search, since 7/13/21 and has 3508 posts totaling 117 pages when looking at his profile. I'm sure there were thousands of posts that were deleted when he was banned (really don't know why he was reinstated as none of the others Herb ever banished over the years have ever returned). Needless to say old Dodgeball has been doing it for years and just stops responding to a thread when he is called out, ridiculed, or caught in a lie.

Can we all just dispense with the formalities and just call him Karen.

Heck, I even found an emoji of him since he loves emojis so much.

In comparison I have been here since 2006 and have 2025 posts, all of which you can search since the beginning. Guess next to Dodgeball I'm just a slacker.

Trump Runs Again

Posted By Jim Moscheck

Not my lists but I agree with these reasons why the man should never be allowed anywhere near the WH ever again. In no particular order.

#1: Subverting the 2020 election
#2: Inciting an insurrection
#3  Abusing the bully pulpit
#4: Politicizing the Justice Department
#5: Obstructing the Mueller investigation
#6: Abusing the pardon power
#7: The Ukraine affair and cover-up
#8: Loyalty oaths and personalizing government
#9: Firing whistleblowers and truth-tellers
#10: Profiting off the presidency
#11: When he appointed his unqualified family to top administration roles
#12: When he called far-right protesters “very fine people”
#13: When he imposed a ‘Muslim travel ban’
#14: When he (repeatedly) refused to release his tax returns
#15: When he lied about his inauguration crowd sizes
#16: When repeatedly called Elizabeth Warren “Pocahontas”
#17: When he tried to buy Greenland
#18: When he attacked former prisoner of war, John McCain as a “loser”
#19: Allegedly referred to the likes of Haiti and El Salvador as “shithole countries*
#20: When he tweeted that the FBI had failed to capture the Parkland school shooter because they were “spending too much time” on Russia
#21: When he separated migrant children from their parents
#22: When he sprayed Black Lives Matter protesters with tear gas so he could attend a photo op
#23: Asked Georgia officials to fix the election for him

Ominous news

Mel exchanged a lot of PM’s with me, too. I asked about him a while back, too.

Sad it hear this but I feared the worst.

Rod, you have to provide the text, these jokers ain’t going to click any links that you, Brian, James, or I post.

In a story headlined “Been there, Don that” that ran on page 26 in print, the New York Post absolutely eviscerates the former president. The story was teased at the bottom of the front page with:

“Florida man makes announcement.” (Shout out to Yahoo News’ Dylan Stableford for flagging!)

A sampling of the article:

“With just 720 days to go before the next election, a Florida retiree made the surprise announcement that he was running for president.”

“Avid golfer Donald J. Trump kicked things off at Mar-a-Lago, his resort and classified-documents library.”

“Trump, famous for gold-plated lobbies and for firing people on reality television, will be 78 in 2024.”

“His cholesterol levels are unknown, but his favorite food is a charred steak with ketchup.”

And then, in the final line of the story: “Trump also served as the 45th president.”

Sorry, meant to include you in the post. I fixed it.

Yeah, me too. I was glad to have a bit of a back and forth with him. His posts were mostly biased to the right but he did take the initiative to try and understand my thoughts. Unlike the other righty guy here who I like to ridicule on a regular basis. He has sent me some PM’s, too, but let’s just say he wasn’t as civil as old Mel was.

I agree. Every PM I had with him had none of the, for lack of a better word, snark his posts sometimes conveyed. Like most of us do Mel became more conservative the older he got. Not sure if he was a vet, but he was from the Vietnam era.

Kind of nice having this little wake here for our forum mate. As this is an astronomy based forum the next time I'm our under a starry sky with my telescope I'll think of him and give him a toast. Not that I ever drink when observing, but you know what I mean.
