A word from George Bush

Posted By Rod Kaufman

It's worlds ahead from what Cheney had to say about Obama the other day, claiming he's risking us all to another terrorist attack.
Talk about fear mongering...

Tyranny of the FBI

Posted By Rod Kaufman

It's high time we stop the determination of the FBI to place spies in the mosques of California:
http://www.cnn.com/2009/US/03/20/fbi.muslim.groups/index.html
You'd think the FBI was investigating terrorists organizations or something. Obviously, they're paranoid, delusional and just plain 'ol Islamophobic.
Imagine the huevos of the FBI to call CAIR a front for Hamas. If anything, the Hamas is just as hard on its Muslim brothers as they are on the infidels. Just look at what they did in the Gaza during operation cast lead. ANY Palestinians suspected of aiding Israel were either kneecapped(shot in the patella with an AK-47) or they had their eyes gouged-out. Yup, the Hamas took out their spoons and did some serious scoopin. And they were non-discriminatory about it, too.
Enter the FBI with their prying eyes in California, in the USA of all places. It's time to get those eyes out of there, too..

Obama's 30 minutes on 60 minutes...

Posted By Rod Kaufman

I liked the answers Obama gave on the economy and committing forces to Afghanistan and on his frustrations in office: dealing with problems complicated by poor decisions made a year or two ago by the previous administration and encountering their results at this time in his young presidency.
To say he has a full plate is putting it mildly...

Bank bailout plan...

Posted By Rod Kaufman

Mike,
I think you're being a bit too hasty in criticizing the bank bailout plan. It's obviously going to take a series of unconventional steps to deal with the financial meltdown and I don't think the Reid/Pelosi diversions are part of it.
This is the Obama financial team at work and it isn't the gloom and doom scenario you appear to paint in your post.
I think the market likes it and that's why it's up. The housing effect is secondary...
