If abortions are such a sin, then why aren't teenage pregnancies to single moms?
Oh, I forgot, it's cultural...

Obama's Supreme Court Pick

Forrest Heinle said:

Anyone remember all that talk Obama spouted about bipartisanship and new era of politics while on the campaign trail trying to garner more votes and look more moderate? Yeah, pretty much all lies.

All i need to know about this pick is that she upheld a rather egregious act of racism. Can't say i'm all that surprised, though.
Forrest,
You're entitled to your opinion but that's all it is, opinion, not fact and stating it as such doesn't make it so...

The Roadless Rule Revisited

Posted By Rod Kaufman
Bush reaked destruction in our national forests no matter what the various governing agencies told him about the consequences of his inane actions. Bush, the decider, decided in favor of the timber industry (they came, they sawed)...
Now, a timeout for logic, reasoning and understanding:

Oil: STOP THE SPECULATION

Posted By Rod Kaufman
Here we go again:
http://www.time.com/time/world/article/0,8599,1901446,00.html
Most of the big increase in the cost of oil and gas last year has proved to be due to one primary factor: speculation. Not supply and demand, not shortages, not even gasoline guzzling, trans fat sucking, nicotine puffing, bible thumping BUSH VOTERS!!!
The Democrats have huffed and puffed about passing anti-speculation bills but it hasn't happened. As for the Republicans, it the usual chant: drill, baby drill!...

Re: GM

As noted on the news today, if Obama didn't take the steps in saving GM that he did, we wouldn't be talking about restructuring in bankruptcy, we would be talking about liquidation. As usual, Jim, your perpetual hatred of Obama clouds your judgment.
