Would not typically grill for more than that 8. Have you seen both of the RT700 and RT590 in action? Which would you favor?

I have had my hands on both the 340 and the 590.....and will have my hands on a 700 sometime this week as we are building a kitchen with one in it. I would say the 590 would serve your needs well as the only difference functionally between the 590 and 700 is the width of the cooking surface 29" vs 36" in width (same depth and height). You can put quite few burgers on a 29"x20" surface lol. I do however like the pellet hopper being on the back of the 700 instead of the side like the 590. With either model you can add the griddle plate and searing plate accessories and have a grill that does it ALL as well.
While I try to push the appliances I prefer, we work with a wide variety of them based on customer choices and have built around a couple of Traegers. They are decent grills. Not in the league with the RecTec's though..... Nor will you find better customer service or a better warranty.
