Noob ready to buy first scope

I started out with an 8" f/6 dobsonian very much like the AD8 which I bought used for $200 from someone at a local public astronomy night put on by a fairly large astro club many years ago......in my experience you would be hard pressed to find a better starter scope. 

Were I to offer one suggestion it would be to immediately investigate adding manual setting circles....Finding specific objects to look at becomes easy instead of frustrating for one who is unfamiliar with the sky.

I cant say I am particularly found of the idea that some of the right fringe decided to break some windows and run amok.....But it pales in the face of the violence and destruction from the left fringe over the last couple years......

The fact that you dont get the comparison speaks loudly Jim......

Lets forget all the hard to prove stuff like rigged machines, fake ballots, etc .....and just talk about ignoring election laws and or changing them to suit your party without going through the legal process to do so. It is a undisputable fact that several states violated their own election laws. That in itself is enough to invalidate the election regardless of who the candidates were or which party it benefitted. In truth even if it was only ONE state......

I already stated I was not particularly happy that some on the fringe right broke some windows and generally ran amok in the nations capitol of course some were plants from antifa as well as has been revealed.....of course some will seize on another statement I said in jest that if I had been there I might have broke some windows too.

The bottom line is our election process failed big time in light of the above and did so with partisan participation and support.

Please save yourself the embarrassment of your faux outrage over the incident in D.C. yesterday. 

In the past several years I've watched Democrats give their tacit approval to cop killers by making excuses for what they did. I've watched them support the burning of cities, murder of innocent businessmen, violent attacks against Republicans/Trump supporters by their silence and again making excuses. 

I watched them heinously and with malice attack a sitting president with the worst kind of lies and even weaponize government agencies against that president as well as rank and file Americans. 

I watched Democrats and our "media" promote and perpetuate outlandish conspiracy theories involving Russia, abuse our constitutional processes by impeaching a president using unnamed sources, secret whistleblowers, and a fake dossier all while our so-called media carried their water. 

But millions saw through you and the truth is out.

I just watched a video on twitter of about 6 to 8 Capitol Police opening the doors and inviting what appeared to be a hundred or more protesters into the building who were calmly filing in, they were steadily and calmly still walking in when it ended.......Something smells......

That said I saw another video yesterday of a protestor breaking out a window and several climbing in as well....Could well have been the same window the unarmed woman who was shot and killed climbing in.
