Are they rude, or just deadbeats?

Over the past week I have sent "I'll buy it" replies to three individuals and have heard from none of them. After a day or so I rechecked the ads and found that the item had been sold, the sale was pending, or that the ad had been deleted.

Should we, as a favor to our fellow Astromarters, rate these individuals accordingly,(no stars), or should we just forget it and charge it to poor upbringing?

Most times i put pending if someone SAYS they will buy my item. Other times i get mind changers and tire kickers, so if i have a feeling my item may not sell i don't put sold or pending on my AD.

As for rating someone, you can't rate a person unless a deal is made.

Herb can snuff that guy out. If there was no deal made then the guy can't rate you.

I would contact Herb.

I'm gonna buy me a used 13mm Ethos when i find one at a good price. I want to compare it to a mint 1982 T-1 Nag.

If the Ethos can WOW me like my first Nag did in the 80's then the Ethos is a keeper.

I never had a problem with Herb after all these years and i think he did wonders for Astromart. Just gotta play by the rules and all will be fine.

Zambuto mirror-please rate.

Only way to rate any mirror is to get out under sky one a 9+ nite of seeing and see how it does on the planets or DSO's.

I never go by numbers. I can tell a super mirror from a so so mirror in less than a min on jupiter or saturn in 9+ skies.

I have owned 5 Zambutos and all of them could take 1000x+ with ease in my Florida seeing.

All of my OMI mirrors have been great and able to handle 1000x + just as well as my Zambuto's. Glad you got that 10" OMI as i was very close to buying it. I would feel safe buying a OMI anyday.
