I agree Jim, but once we went down the slippery bailout slope with the financial geniouses that earn tens or hundreds of millions at our expense, how could anyone say no to anyone else. The whole thing rots. I did just read that Goldman has enough stashed to pay thier average employee 500k this year in bonuses.............

do you think we can leave a semblence of civilization in a place with no real fabric of central control and the most lucrative drug traffickng trade around in 18 months, thousands of miles away? After 8 years we're not too far into that project, however badly managed. I think our mission was to remove the Taliban from control, we did, get out. If they come back because they are bad or revert we can always revisit the capital there again. :S
