Extremely nice given the conditions. I think I finally fixed some guiding errors of my own. friday night I went back to my 11" and was totally frustrated (got a little too used to the simplicity of imaging with the Tak 78). So I spent a few hours stripping the scope apart yesterday and found the main problem--the setscrew that holds the motor shaft to the worm was a wee bit loose, so there was a big pause as the dec axis switched direction. I also tightened up most of the mechanical backlash in both gear sets. Should be back to great goto's and easy guiding. I'd like to have an AO-7 for the thing, but the funds do not allow it. What any of this has to do with your image, I have no Idea. I just ramble sometimes.

France has every right to do and say what they like. I (and any american who wishes to do so) also have the right to buy what products I wish. Kind of a parallel to the whole 'dixie chicks' thing. The had every right to say what they did, just as their 'fans' have every right to stop buying their records and cease listening to radio stations that play them. those, be they a nation or country/western group, who choose to exercise their rights must be willing to accept the responsibilities that come with those rights.

The thing about terrorists is that they don't need new reasons to attack. Anytime they have an opportunity, they will do so. They would of course wait until the time when they believe the country is at its weakest and they are at their strongest. I personally believe this is far from the case right now, but time will tell on that point. It is my opinion that if we change our thoughts/actions to appease terrorists, then they have won. I for one will not let the fear of terrorism terrorize me.
