James, I find this rather interesting. I routinely do not wear a mask in stores and certainly, I am not the only one. It may "bother" some, but I've never experienced any problems. I comply if I know a restaurant emphasizes it, but some do not. Some dental offices do not require them.
My sentiment is that if it makes you "feel good" to wear a mask, you're free to wear one for the rest of your life if you so desire. It's simply a nuisance, as far as I'm concerned, and I'm sure that most people around here view it as such.

Rod, I guess this simply has affected people(psychologically?) in different ways. Frankly, it is not something that I have been overly concerned about healthwise. It has inconvenienced me to some extent and disrupted travel plans. That is simply the effect that it's had on my life. I did recently find a Catholic Church nearby that doesn't require masks or for people to sit a certain distance apart. It's nice to be able to attend a Mass that is fairly normal. It seems that many people with leftist inclinations want to delay a return to normal as long as possible.
