Ok, I'll concede that Trump's bluster about not being defeated is just as silly as the possibility of him usurping control over the EC or resigning and having Pence pardon him.

Red States Covid Cases Dropping Trumptoids Like Flies

No.  I apologize If I ever said that.  I was slower than you or David to appreciate the scope of the pandemic, but only by a few weeks.  In view of the death rates and the promising vaccine news I would hope that the US total would not exceed 350k by the time widespread immunization occurs.  If the vaccine fails of course, all bets are off.

People voted. He's losing his court cases.  His transition is simply a formality now.

We'll be fine and all this mess he's putting the country through is simply putting a further stain on his presidency.

If he refuses to leave he'll be removed.
I agree 100%.  Literally 100% with every word.

I'm not sure who makes me sicker, Trump or those that ignore what he is attempting and just think "Well, that's just Donald"

Yes, I'm referring to YOU.
Russ, I don't understand why you give such credence to Trump's BS.  This is the whiney tantrum of a child being shown to his room.  Personally, I did not know that Giuliani had a 1.75 hour TV show last night.  Did anyone watch?

My guess is that two types of people watched.  (A) True believers who think Trump was robbed.  Nothing will convince them otherwise.  The true believers will go to their graves thinking Trump was robbed.  (B) Angsty types who think the system will not dispose of Trump unless he concedes, graciously or not.  The press of course is full of B's and loves to spin other B's up.

With apologies to Shakespeare,

Trump's but a walking shadow,
a poor player That struts and frets his hour upon the stage,
And then is heard no more.
It is a tale Told by an idiot, full of sound and fury,
Signifying nothing.

"I have a score to settle with Dems"

President Donald Trump told an ally that he knows he lost, but that he is delaying the transition process and is aggressively trying to sow doubt about the election results in order to get back at Democrats for questioning the legitimacy of his own election in 2016, especially with the Russia investigation, a source familiar with the President's thinking told CNN on Thursday.
That article seems to me to be extremely plausible.  I agree with your editorial comment too.

And here is a post from a classmate in MI. This is a problem:
This is not a problem.  Not a significant problem anyway.  Reuters has polled and interviewed the lunatic fringe:

"Now, Fryar says he would go to war for Trump. He has joined the newly formed South Plains Patriots, a group of a few hundred members that includes a “reactionary” force of about three dozen - including Fryar and his son, Caleb - who conduct firearms training."

Obviously these folks will die thinking Trump was robbed.  Nothing we can do about that.  Probably far more people think we are regularly visited by space aliens.

Without any honor or character, we have yet to see what a man like Trump could do. We don't know, but we are going to find out.
No, I'm 99% confident that the guardrails of our country will contain this monster.  I suppose civil war is possible, but extremely unlikely.  So far, Trump has protested loudly to the cheers of his sycophants.  He has filed lawsuits and lost.  He is thwarting normal transition activities (that is bad, but the Biden teams can adapt around it.)  Crazy people are believing crazy things.  But if Trump has already demonstrated that the guardrails are insufficient, which is how I read your second to last line, how has he done that?  He is noisy and obnoxious, but fully boxed in by the legal guardrails.
