Covid-19 data and graphs

Posted By Greg Shaffer

I have to admit I have my concerns regarding the "vaccine". By no means am I knowledgeable regarding gene modification/manipulation but I do know that there has never been a vaccine that manipulates mRNA sequencing (I think that is the correct term). WHat they are doing with it does not fit with the CDC's definition of a vaccine.  I am also uncomfortable with what I think they will ultimately come right out and do which is force it on us.

I just looked and there are 5 copies of the same ad all with unconfirmed status.....go to your profile and view your ads there. Open one of them and hit the green "Place Classified" button. Then delete the rest of them smile

Lumber Prices. Spiking??

Today i checked.  $8.00......  Plywood Aspenite sheets which used to be $10 are now nearly $40....

Apparently low interest rates are driving a housing boom which supply cannot keep up with.  At least, that's what they told me at the Home Depot....

I'm thinking of having a garage built here but not at these lumber prices...

Is this happening in the USA too?

Dave

It jumped pretty high a few months ago, in some cases nearly 3 times the prior to covid prices.....Then it started falling back almost to normal a month or two before the election. After the election it spiked again but not to the previous highs yet.....It will continue to rise somewhat commensurate with fuel costs....

Scam Alert

Posted By Greg Shaffer

Lots of red flags on that one right out of the gate.....I would have ignored the ad for the following reasons

1. Brand new member

2. No transaction history

3. big ticket item as their 1st ad

While I have given the benefit of the doubt a handful of times to a seller like that, never for more than $100.....$3000? No way smile

You mention the single most irritating thing about CN for me.....The use of "handles".

A misuse of the term but it is simply an AR15 variant.

No it is not an assault weapon..... It is simply a semi-automatic rifle functionally no different than a Browning BAR that looks like an assault weapon.

And still the AR15 is functionally no different from the BAR.....which is a hunting rifle. Assault weapons contrary to opinions of the gun grabbers have a fully automatic mode.....AR15's do not.

Factoid: I am not referencing the BAR military model.....but the sporting model BAR which was NOT used in the military and does not have a fully automatic function. It is a hunting rifle and it looks like a hunting rifle. Both the sporting BAR and the AR15 are functionally the same.
