Speaking of the protests in Egypt these days, the crowds appears to be devoid of just one thing: humans of the female persuasion. I mean it appears more likely that I'll see a mummies head than a female one. The ratio appears to be a 100 males to every hejab/burka woman in the crowd. I guess the yearning for freedom and democracy doesn't quite make to the entire representative collective, now does it?

You can't believe what some of the UK commentators are doing and saying. One of them is riding around in an Egyptian tank together with a senior muslim brotherhood official criticizing the Egyptian government for thirty years of peace with Israel! They evidently want to see Egypt downgraded to a third world fundamentalist state that they want it to be...

The senatorial report on the results of the investigation into the reasons why the Ft Hood massacre could have been avoided are clear: "The inability to act was a result of both bureaucratic inefficiency AND AN UNWILLINGNESS TO IDENTIFY AND CONFRONT HOMEGROWN ISLAMIC EXTREMISM."
Well, although that conclusion comes too late for the victims of the massacre, perhaps something will now be done so it might be prevented from happening again...

Egypt is losing control of the Sinai to the Beduin who are armed with rockets and assault rifles. Where the heck are Beduin getting AKs and rockets? Probably from the Hamas, the Brotherhood and the Iraniums.
