In fact I am getting real close to hitting the road to New Mexico where I will be able to say I am fully retired. I just bought a 5th wheel RV trailer which I am taking out there to live in on some property I bought years ago FAR from the city lights. Will be less than 6 months. When I get there the 1st project will be to build an roll off observatory and the 2nd will be a large shed for the RV. Need to get those things done before I am unable to handle it myself lol. The trip out will take a couple months as I have been taking orders for building kitchens along the way. Pulling my 16 foot cargo trailer with the tools behind the 5th wheel.
That sounds awesome Greg. I envy you as I love it in New Mexico. What elevation?

Thanks Rod. Absolutely will make up for lost time with my dob. I hope the tracking motors and the Servocat survived the 3 year hiatus. One of the first things I'm doing is a major cleaning and repainting the inside flat black. I need a new shroud, too. Floyd Blue made my last one and I still use one of his fan assemblies for the boundary layer above the mirror.

Thank you Russ. There ain't too many like me left in the world. My parents installed a good work ethic in all of us kids at a young age. My first business was at 13 with an early morning paper route.

McCarthy: "A Bathroom Door Locks"

Meanwhile, the GOP, headed by 89 year old Chuck Grassley "dig for dirt" on Biden by recycling bogus conspiracy theories :
"During the 2020 presidential campaign, Trump and his supporters spread the claim that Biden pushed for the firing of Ukraine’s top prosecutor in order to halt an investigation of his son, who received hundreds of thousands of dollars in compensation for sitting on the board of Burisma, a Ukrainian energy company."
"The Associated Press at the time described the allegation as “a widely discredited theory.”
"Grassley doesn’t know if the phone recordings exist or if the FBI was able to track them down."

For those who want to know what's real:
"Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-Md.), the ranking member of the House Oversight Committee, this month said that the FBI and Justice Department under the leadership of then-Attorney General Bill Barr reviewed the allegations made by the unnamed foreign national and found they did not merit further investigation."
"Raskin said the FD-1023 form that Grassley and Comer reviewed contained an allegation from the unnamed foreign national that relayed a conversation with another person and that the source could not corroborate the information."
"Raskin dismissed the claim as “secondhand hearsay” and argued the “confidential human source said that he had no way of knowing about the underlying veracity of the things that he was being told,” according to a New York Times report. "
"NBC News, citing a senior law enforcement official, reported this month that the FBI and Scott Brady, then the U.S. attorney for Western Pennsylvania, reviewed the allegation in 2020 and found the bribery allegation wasn’t substantiated. "

You think this matters to the magats? If it isn’t reported on their preferred new source it didn’t happen.

You mean leave it to Greg to only believe the facts as they are presented by the media he agrees with.

If I had to guess it's MAGA World. Even though he doesn't really like Trump. He likes his policies.

(Not my best effort, excuse me while I get this knot out of my snarkiness, it's all twisted up.)

Speaking of Rich where is he? Suppose maybe he has found Jesus and has changed his ways and he's joined a cult, church, and/or a militia? Needed a break from being such an annoying personality? Is really a Russian bot who just got transferred to another secret government agency? He's really Trump's aide and indictment buddy Walt Nauta and now has bigger things to worry about?

Sorry Greg, you just don't cut it. If I can't have Rich living in my head rent free anymore I don't know what I'll do. Woe is me.

Now I have to go untwist a few more pretzels and maybe have another brew to go with them.
