Nothing more than that.

My point was to inform that when you don't have a clue, don't criticize others, it just exposes you as the weasel you are.  wink
This whole dialog makes me sad.  The other day Rich, you made a whole series of funny typos when quoting the Constitution.    I tried to turn it into a solid joke to be shared by all, including you, it was just a typo after all (you'll remember the bit about a nice brownstone in Georgetown).  The joke fell flat.  I'm not even sure you got it...

I think that humor has left the forum in favor of blatant attacks and juvenile name calling.  That's too bad in my opinion.

Hmm.... I wonder If YOU would consider THAT,  a personal attack on me?

Any response??

Don't worry, I don't expect a response.

I didn't bother to look through the thread itself, since I wasn't interested, but maybe you can inform me Mr. Peacemaker, did you take advantage of the posting Jim Moschek originated simply to take a personal shot at me as well?

Just curious about that.

I doubt seriously that you bothered to enter THAT particular thread above to chastise your little buddies on the left.

So once again, let me just tell how meaningless your response above is to me.  wink

BTW, did I mention what a complete hypocritical fraud you are?  smile
Rich, I replied to you because you recently posted a series of typos that I found humorous.  You have never even acknowledged the joke!  Also, why do you insist on thinking I am singling you out?  You really struggle to play the victim sometimes.

When I said that this whole dialog made me sad, I meant that the whole dialog made me sad.   The whole dialog - multiple participants.  Get it?

Since you need reassurance, I think Jim M's recent series of name calling posts are juvenile, distasteful and beneath him.  Jim M. knows this and has acknowledged as much.

Of course you are the most offensive as all - in both quantity and content.  No rational person could dispute that.  This fact does not give Jim M a pass for his recent spate of offensiveness, but it is a fact.

It is odd that you would type this after reading my posts for the last year.  You are just making things up again.  No worries, we're all used to your techniques.

You're just not paying attention then.  I have posted volumes of content concerning the Constitution over the years, almost always from a conservative Scalia-like point of view.  I did post a Constitutional argument in favor of gay marriage over a decade ago, long before it was mainstream - but gay marriage is something I think is mandated under proper conservative constitutional jurisprudence.

Recently I've defended ACB and her nomination from Rod's lame attacks and so on.  I have in fact posted support for small business owners in the face of the pandemic, although I do not see the Constitutional issue you are so fussed about.  And of course, I recently documented for you several of my condemnations of violence on the left.  That was the gist of your post when I first read it, before you evidently recalled that we had been down that particular road before and edited your post.

In any case, I going to grab some lunch.  Later.

p.s.  In October I posted this, "The social media censorship double standards are glaring and problematic."  Sure I didn't use as many words, paragraphs and pages as you would have, but rest assured that I am no fan of censorship.  (Either problematic but probably legal private entity censorship or unconstitutional state action censorship).  Anyway, that was the first post I found by me that used the words "censorship."  Nothing I have posted over the last two decades would lead any rational person to think I favor censorship.

Perhaps you'll address it in another 3 (October, Nov., Dec., Jan.)  months or so, after all conservative writings have been removed from Facebook,Twitter, removal of Parler completely by the Big Tech companies that now control the social media outlets.

I'm sure you are outraged about that as well.
You've outed me.  I'm a closeted totalitarian.  I won't be satisfied until every shred of conservative thought is erased from the collected entirety of electronic and print media.  The mechanical hound is coming my friend.  It is coming for you.

Is there anyone more staunch of a defender of the US Constitution than are you?

I think not!

The evidence is there.
Maybe, we'll see what the news cycles bring.  I used to write a lot here about the Bill of Rights.  Particularly the Establishment and Free Exercise clauses of the First Amendment.  That and the Second Amendment.  I wrote some pretty good stuff on those topics, even though I was succinct by your standards.

Former Republican officials float possibility of forming 'center-right' party

Hi Brian:

I think you are overestimating the attention span of the average voter.  We won't know until 24 or 28 for sure, but if (key "if" there) Biden gives the people reason to distrust him, dislike him, or he has a crummy economy - war - some sort of catastrophe or scandal, any number of things, then the short attention span of the voters will kick in and they'll flock to Haley or whomever the R candidate might be.

I certainly hope none of that comes to pass.  A Biden cake-walk in 2024 would certainly reflect decent times in the country over the next 4 years.  People will be hungry for change in 2028 though, they always are.
