The problem:

Again, we're talking short term solutions here.
Take a look at the video in the link of Richardson's thoughts on it.
My take:
1. Tap the strategic oil reserve. We've got enough of it to do it and justify it due to the impact on an economy recovering from a great recession.
2. Temporarily reduce oil exports from our country to others based upon prioritizing the need.
3. Escort oil tankers with multinational task force to remove the threat of a closure of the strait of Hormuz.
4. Temporarily reduce the tax on gas at a national and state level.
5. Increase the gas guzzler tax on large vehicles like pickups and SUVs and use it to offset the difference on lost revenues due to the reduction of gas tax.
6. The Saudis have already stated they will increase oil flow if Iran goes to war. Diplomatic efforts need to begin that process now.
7. Lower the cost of public transportation in the short term until the current crisis has eased.
8. Stop the practice of "zoning" wherein regional gas prices are fixed per area.
9. Stagger the shut down cycles for oil refineries for maintenance so they don't all shut down at the same interval.
10. Curtail oil market speculation now before it kills the economy.
Any other ideas other than it's Obama's fault?

They're wrecking our economy and the global economy as they develop the bomb and we're feeding them at the same time?

Who's America's public enemy number one?
Iran? Nope?
OPEC Countries? Oh, they love us.
China? You're getting warm.
The top honor goes to, as per Mitt Romney, RUSSIA!
That's right, time to reignite the cold war and rebuild America by rebuilding its bomb shelters!

A record 400,000 deported per year and a record number of bad guys among them:

Contrast that with dismal record of Dubya who spent billions more protecting the borders of Iraq rather than our own. Not to mention conservative icon Ronald Reagan who opened up the sieve.
