The now titular HEAD of the Department of Justice, Jack Smith, who has apparently taken over the DOJ, is attempting to use an 1876 archaic law meant to apply to slaves, a it beyond all recognition, in order to try and get Trump, any way possible.
The law 18 US Code 241 was put on the books in order to protect former slaves from having their rights violated. It was even titled "Conspiracy Against Rights" and it was meant for slaves, and has no business being applied to Trump's situation since it was meant to apply to freed slaves after the Civil War.
But that is just how Desperate these corrupt Democrats are. They will twist and convolute any statute if they can figure a way to use it against Trump.
That's how deep and reaching this Jack Smith DOJ will stoop, in order to figure a way to keep Trump from being elected, and being able to run for office.
As I pointed out well over a year ago, the corrupt Left has been calling Jan 6th an "Insurrection" when it was nothing of the sort, in order to keep Trump out of office since 18 US Code 2383 outlines the way the Left could try to use that law to keep Trump from Running for elected office ever again.
Even though they desperately wanted to get him on that Bullshit, they didn't put that in the indictment did they?

It is pretty obvious why he didn't include that statute in his pathetic indictment. He knew that he couldn't prove a God Damned thing against Trump using that Statute, but yet we heard all through the last 2 1/2 years how Trump engaged in an insurrection.
Now then, if you want to reference reversals let's talk about the HEAD of the DOJ, Jack Smith Pit Bull attack dog against any and all Republicans.
His most famous case, Jack Smith's case against Bob McDonnell was reversed by the US Supreme Court and it was a Unanimous reversal of 8-0, which means that even the most liberal Justices REBUKED Jack Smith's case completely and Unanimously.
The Supreme Court wrote this in their Decision: "the uncontrolled power of criminal prosecutors is a threat to our separation of powers.
And that's what Jack Smith is, an uncontrolled Hit man who now has all the power of a corrupt gov't run by a corrupt official, Joe Biden who during the run up to the election, made public statements saying we will make sure that he doesn't get near the Oval Office again.
The corrupt bastard is certainly holding true to his word, and using any POWER he can to make sure he does that.
