Good to know it is not doing it on my end. We will just have to type using Spock Speak. IIRC Data also spoke in Spock Speak. It is supposed to make you sound smarter and more well informed, maybe Richard should try it. wink

What is it with you? You were the furthest thing from my mind as was this forum and politics in general, but the fact you would think that is just plain weird.

Are you sure you are not over compensating for something?

I got back, I read the exchanges between you and Jim B. in the other thread and commented that it delivered.

I had not even posted a word in this thread, and you brought me into it with this remark you made:

Jim M stated:  " It is supposed to make you sound smarter and more well informed, maybe Richard should try it".

Well, it is obvious that I wasn't the furthest thing from your mind, I'm apparently all over your mind, front and center.   LOL  tongue
I was taking about Spock Speak you idiot. I suggested you try it so you would come across as less of a horse's ass.

BTW- can you even see or comprehend that we were talking about the problems with the text when using contractions. There is an example in the quote above.

Senate conservatives outraged over change in dress code.

Posted By Jim Moscheck

This is what's important. Wearing a coat and tie while on the senate floor. Never mind there is one senator blocking promotions in the entire military, but I guess the dress code is more vital to the nation.

I think they should also require the wearing of powdered wigs and all guns sold should be muskets.

https://apnews.com/article/senate-dress-code-fetterman-schumer-1175eec2cc270e22848da891865134d3

"Walking to Monday evening’s vote in a short-sleeved button-down shirt and shorts, Fetterman said he wasn’t sure if he’d take advantage of the new rules just yet.

“It’s nice to have the option, but I’m going to plan to be using it sparingly and not really overusing it,” he said.

Asked about the criticism, Fetterman feigned mock outrage.

“They’re freaking out, I don’t understand it,” he said of his critics. “Like, aren’t there more important things we should be working on right now instead of, you know, that I might be dressing like a slob?”

When Fetterman reached the Senate floor, he still voted from the doorway. “Baby steps,” he told reporters as he got on the elevator to go back to his office."

"Not all Republicans were upset about the change. Missouri Sen. Josh Hawley was wearing jeans, boots and no tie on Monday evening, an outfit he says he normally wears when he flies in from his home state for the first votes of the week.

“Now I can vote from the Senate floor on Mondays,” Hawley said, noting that he usually wears a suit and tie every other day."

GOP front runner for president Trump wrote to-do lists for assistant on White House documents marked classified: Sources

Posted By Jim Moscheck

Wait a minute. Wasn't Trump the guy who said HRC should be locked up because of a few classified markings on a few private emails? He's F'ed as far as the documents case go and it just keeps getting worse for him.

But hey, you guys on the right like his policies, correctt? Do you agree with him that HRC should be locked up? Should Trump be locked up for a much more serious breach in the handling of classified materials or should he be just be reelected?

BTW - Sources said that after Trump heard the FBI wanted to interview Michael last year, Trump allegedly told her, "You don't know anything about the boxes."

https://abcnews.go.com/US/trump-wrote-lists-assistant-white-house-documents-marked/story?id=103226113

"One of former President Donald Trump's long-time assistants told federal investigators that Trump repeatedly wrote to-do lists for her on documents from the White House that were marked classified, according to sources familiar with her statements.

As described to ABC News, the aide, Molly Michael, told investigators that -- more than once -- she received requests or taskings from Trump that were written on the back of notecards, and she later recognized those notecards as sensitive White House materials -- with visible classification markings -- used to brief Trump while he was still in office about phone calls with foreign leaders or other international-related matters.

The notecards with classification markings were at Trump's Mar-a-Lago estate when FBI agents searched the property on Aug. 8, 2022 -- but the materials were not taken by the FBI, according to sources familiar with what Michael told investigators."

When Michael, who was not present for the search, returned to Mar-a-Lago the next day to clean up her office space, she found the documents underneath a drawer organizer and helped transfer them to the FBI that same day, sources told ABC News.

The sources said Michael also told federal investigators that last year she grew increasingly concerned with how Trump handled recurring requests from the National Archives for the return of all government documents being kept in boxes at Mar-a-Lago -- and she felt that Trump's claims about it at the time would be easy to disprove, according to the sources."

and

But then, according to what she told investigators, around the same time that the National Archives found nearly 200 classified documents in the 15 boxes and referred the matter to the FBI, Trump began to seem more reluctant to cooperate with the agency, and he asked Michael to help spread a message that no more boxes existed, sources said she recounted.

That's when Michael became concerned, knowing that scores more boxes were in the storage room, sources said. And as Trump continued to claim that there were no more boxes, Michael even pointed out to him that many people, including maintenance workers, knew otherwise because they had all seen that there were many more than 15 boxes, sources said she told investigators.

Smith's indictment against Trump alleges that Trump asked one of his attorneys at the time, "Wouldn't it be better if we just told them we don't have anything here?"

Speaking later with investigators, Michael said she believed early on that claims of no more boxes from Trump were "easily" disproven, and she believed Trump knew they were false because he knew the contents of those boxes better than anyone else -- and because he had previously seen a photograph of the storage room with all 90 or so boxes in it, ABC News was told.

Let's talk about the dress code ahd the disrespect by Fetterman to the entire nation.

So, I guess the thread I started on the subject was not good enough for you, huh?

On edit: Triggered much? Conservative outrage is even in the title of my thread.

Dude, my contribution to the thread was the title and first paragraph. The rest was from the AP article that I posted a link to and the sections that I quoted from the article. I even quote the part about Fetterman calling himself a slob and Josh Hawley liking the idea.

You can't handle a slightly over the top title and my joke about powdered wigs and muskets? Really?

Boy, I walked right into your trap, huh?

Nice to see a staunch conservative reach across the aisle to a democrat

Posted By Jim Moscheck

Night vision is amazing what you can see in the dark. Got a view through a 29 inch dob and night vision eyepiece set up last week that was amazing. But I digress...

Kind of slutty for a GOP congresswoman on a date with a democrat who owns a bar in Aspen that has drag shows.

Either she was really drunk, the vape she was smoking was really pot, or both due to the way she is acting in public.

Richard thinks there is not enough decorum in the House. I do not want to say there are hypocrites among us here, but.......

I can not believe Colorado elected this woman. Twice. I guess it is because she is for low taxes for the millionaires who live in their million dollar mountain homes in Aspen and Vail.

Skip to 1:49 to see just how much decorum she has.

On edit: watched the video again and she really looks like she is on something other than pot or alcohol. She is the only one in the audience who is dancing and constantly moving, when she is not being groped or when she is giving him a HJ.

What a role model to our children she is. God bless her.
