LOL....you were the one that called Rich wrong when he said more people "were killed by knives than rifles" and YOU put up a link that made a liar out of you.....no one specified a particular rifle, Rich merely pointed out that AR15's are rifles as well so he was 100% correct in his statement. I know you WISH we were talking about firearms in general but you are the one that claimed Rich was wrong with his claim about rifles vs knives.

Just go on and admit that in your zeal to dispute Rich you didnt pay attention to what Rich said and mistakenly assumed it was about guns vs knives instead of rifles vs knives....You would look a LOT less stupid LOL

Making these kinds of distinctions in the context of gun control does not bolster your argument - just the opposite, in fact.

This makes just as much sense: Knives kill more people than guns with polka-dot paint. True, but so what?

If you want to try and make a legitimate case for knives vs rifles, apply the same distinction to knives. How about machetes vs rifles? Or butcher or bowie knives vs rifles?

Rich already explained that in a prior post you obviously didnt read......He said he made the example rifles vs knives and pointed out that AR15's are rifles to make the point that even though handguns are by far the most used guns in killings that the gun grabbers ignore the handguns and single out the AR15, hypocrisy at its best so to speak. Be careful in your zeal to attack Rich or you will look as dumb as Rod on this one smile

Telescope use while confined to a wheelchair

Posted By Greg Shaffer

Hi Alan

While I dont have a solution for you beyond simply cutting the existing legs you have to do the modification I do have a suggestion for potential alternatives. Astromart is a great place for buying/selling/trading astro gear, in fact probably the best on the planet. However, the forums are, compared to others, not very active. I would suggest if you have not that you join Cloudy Nights as the forums there are VERY active. A search for the term "wheelchair" reveals a LOT of discussion of ideas and methods of wheelchair based astronomy.

Placing a wanted ad here in the classifieds seeking the legs may result in success (much more likely than a post in the forums) which you can do as well on Cloudy Nights for additional exposure. Best of luck with your endeavors!

Jezus you are a despicable human being Rod..... Even the head of the CDC says the vaccine doesnt prevent transmitting the virus. Simple enough to give them a test to see if they have it.
