It's bad enough when some stupid buys alcohol for a minor and the minor gets drunk and drives and hits somebody. But when you have an imbecile like her buying an assault rifle for a convicted murderer of his own kin, it's taking it to a whole new level. There are times when people have to be protected from themselves. This is an example of one of those times, hence the need for a ban on assault rifles. Reduce the ready availability of these types of weapons so the possibility of similar occurrences are reduced.
