LOL. The fact they are all misdemeanors and she doesn't lose her livelihood means she'll have to testify or the plea deal would be null and void. Interesting.

If I was Jack Smith I'd be talking to her, too. If I was her, well, the first to squeal get the best deal.

How many ballots will it take this time to order to elect a Speaker of the House?

It appears Jordan has already lost the third vote that is underway now.

Uh oh, now Kenneth Chesebro takes last-minute plea deal, agrees to testify in Georgia election case

https://abcnews.go.com/US/kenneth-chesebro-takes-minute-plea-deal-georgia-election/story?id=104169908

"Kenneth Chesebro, a key co-defendant in former President Donald Trump's Georgia election interference case, has taken a last-minute plea deal in which he has agreed to testify in the case.

Chesebro pleaded guilty to a single felony charge of conspiracy to commit filing of false documents and will receive five years' probation and a $5,000 fine, in exchange for agreeing to testify and provide documents and evidence.

The agreement is the first felony plea deal among the 19 defendants in the case. Two other defendants have also taken deals."

Like I said in the other thread, whoever squeals gets the best deals.

II think Willis has a pretty darn good case. Heck, all Trump wanted to do was to find "find 11,780 votes, which is one more than we need". Too bad Raffensperger recorded that call.

Let me ask you to engage in a little thought experiment:

What do you think the odds might be of Trump being convicted by a Wyoming jury considering Jack Smith's charges?
What do you think the odds might be of Trump being convicted by the Washington DC jury hearing Jack Smith's charges?

This thought experiment underscores the peculiar and political nature of this case, IMO.  Jim
I guess too bad for Trump it didn't happen in Wyoming.

Do you think a jury in Wyoming would be fair to the prosecution and not favor Trump?.

Why has this University Professor at Cal. Davis NOT been fired by the School for Threatening the lives of Jewish Students, and Why has the FBI NOT arrived at her home with a SWAT team to arrest her??

This vile Assistant professor Jemma Descristo, and she's only an Assistant professor wrote this vile garbabe on X:

"One group of ppl we have easy access to in the US is all these zionist journalists who spread propaganda & misiniformation.  They have houses w addresses, kids in school," the professor allegedly said, adding "They can fear their bosses, but they should fear us more," followed by a knife emoji, an axe emoji, and three blood drop emojis.

It appears that she directly threatened people and yet she isn't sitting in jail with charges of domestic terrorism.

Why would it take the University more than 30 seconds to remove her from her taxpayer funder position at the School?  shocked
I agree, if I was the president of the school I'd be having a final conversation with her ASAP.

What does that have to do with the topic of this thread? Which you started BTW.

I stopped watching Maher a while ago, probably before you ever started watching him. I couldn't care less what he thinks. He's a rich and spoiled Hollywood comedienne/celebrity who used to be funny and poignant is his critique of politics, but now he just seems like a dick with his holier than thou attitude, probably why you now like him. I used to subscribe to HBO just for his show, but not anymore.

Another Domino Falls: Jenna Ellis Pleads Guilty

Posted By Jim Moscheck

Yeah, I was just reading that bit of news on my phone.

I don't think Donny is going to make it through all of these trials, judging by his behavior during his NY civil trial. Cohen was on the stand today and I would wager his blood pressure spiked during most of his testimony. He does not look like a well man.
