Registax 3 vs Registax 2 (VERY inconclusive)Posted By Paul Maxson |
Hi all,
I know this is just one Avi so results can't be conclusive, but I have noticed that Registax 3.0 seems to handle avis that have shifting images better than Version 2. This is an avi I shot with the C925 and 2.5x Powermate. The first image is processed with V2, the second with V3. In the original Avi, the crater shifted upwards more than I would like. I used as close to the same settings for both as I could, except with V3 I used Compress (60%). Wavelets were done with the same version (V2) and lightly processed in PaintShop Pro 9.0. I have 10-12 other lunar avi's to work with and I'm going to be curious if the trend follows. At any rate, if nothing else I have a lunar image that I can use.
Clear skies!!
