Obama: “But If You Like Your Health Plan, You Can Keep It. Yeah, riiiiight. I liked mine a lot. They dumped me because of ObamaCare. I liked my next one. They dumped me because of ObamaCare.

https://twitter.com/betapsi1266/status/381432228288286721/photo/1According to the official website, these are the official providers for California. It looks like Blue Shield should be scratched. What a pathetic freaking list. That leaves only two serious major providers to choose from. The rest are ethnic and local clinic groups. Even if Congress can stop this ticking time bomb, Californians are still screwed. You can choose between a Ford Fiesta and a Chevy Sonic. Lowest common denominator. There's no need for real choice in the socialist utopia.

Dave,
You can expect to see some letters like the one you've posted. Not all insurance carriers will participate in the exchanges but there are many others that do, The coverage will remain the same, depending on the plan you choose, but the carrier that provides it may or may not be the same one that you may have been with in the past. The same thing has happened in private industry for years. For example, I worked for one employer for masny years and during that time, I had health insurance I liked through Blue Shield but my employer at the time got a better deal through Healthnet so the carrier changed but my coverage remained the same.
Here's verification of the fact that you will get a letter and why and what to do about it:

Oh, the rates may very well be lower than expected, here's TODAY'S data:
