When the buyer responded to your ad did you receive an email to the email you have on file here or did they send you a PM via the site?

Just be aware if the buyer does not respond directly via the button on the ad then the flag doesnt get set for both of you to have the opportunity to give feedback. If that is what happened and you have not marked the ad as sold yet then he should be able to respond via the ad still.....If you have marked it as sold you may be able to unmark it as sold (I dont recall if that is still an option) then he can respond via the ad and the flags will get set that allow feedback. Once he has done that then you can mark it sold again.

Going forward it is a good idea never to mark an item as sold until the entire process is complete including the appropriate feedbacks etc......

If someone sends you a PM about an item, tell them they have to respond via the button on the ad before moving ahead with the transaction so that the system creates the feedback options.

99% of the time the issue with emails lies with either your or the buyers email provider (ISP) flagging the emails generated from astromart as spam because of the repetitive nature of the email notifications. That is not something Astromart has any control over.

It works fine for me and problems has been rare over the years..... Here is how it is supposed to work

1. You post an ad
2. Buyer responds via the ad
3a. System sets the transaction rating flags for you and the buyer
3b. System sends you an email notifying you of the inquiry
4. You reply to it and it goes directly to the buyers email
5. From that point on all communication is direct via email outside of AM so you and the buyer have your own record of all communications in case there is a problem.

It is simple and works well for most people 99% of the time and usually about the only glitch that happens is as stated above when an ISP flags an email or emails as spam. This is something you should be able to check for by looking in your spam folder although there have been 1 or 2 ISP's who have filtered them out without sending you a copy to your spam folder, as I recall hotmail was one of the worst for this at one time......

About the only recommendation I have for you is check your spam folder for the missing emails..... Pretty much everything astro related I own was purchased via this site and its quite a lot, I have also sold a fair bit as well....all with pretty much no issues for around 15 years. As for your remarks regarding future activities, I am a member just like you so that is entirely up to you

While I am happy to see any reduction, I sure aint gonna pretend 25 cents is worth some kind of celebration when as Rich points out we are still over a $1 higher than we were.....

If you are speaking of the one that has posts from the last couple of days.......Topics like that one come up every few months and usually the same actors (who were banned for one reason or the other from AM in the past that pile on with the same BS) or the complainers/tightwads who dont like the yearly fee on AM come piling in. I had a look and several long time members of AM have spoken up to defend AM including an active CN moderator. The topic is now locked but still visible which is why you got that error I am sure. 

I retired from the staff over there a while back as it was getting too time consuming so I no longer have access to the background of whats up with why you cant see it anymore.....what I do know from my 5 years on staff over there is AM bashing topics get shut down fairly quickly. Most of the staff are long time AM'ers as well and respect the fact that you try to run a pretty tight ship.

Depends on what he says. I watched a few of his shows when he 1st came on the air after Bill left but thats been quite a while ago. I do occasionally view a clip as well. As for agreeing with him, it would depend on the topic and his position on it.

I didnt see him saying that stuff about Putin and it sounds a little strange for him or perhaps taken out of context would be my position until I see it.
