McCain Suspends Campaign to Help Rescue Economy!

Posted By Jim Moscheck

Jim: what are you smoking? There won't be a vote on this till at least next week. To hell with Burnacke and Paulson saying it must be done now. This is going to effect us for the foreseeable future. Yeah, let's give 'em 700 billion right now for being bad money managers.

You don't get it, do you?

My wife said it would have been good for a drinking game. That woulda been a whole lot of shots.

He said it more than Sarah Palin said maverick. IIRC he didn't say maverick once.

McCain Homeownership Resurgence Plan!

Posted By Jim Moscheck

I can afford my mortgage now, but I stop making payments. My house is foreclosed on and I then refinance it at it's current value, not what I originally paid for it. I stay in house. Wow, that's like free money. grin

Where do I sign up? grin

Oh, and BTW, as I said yesterday: You and your posts are nothing but a TROLL. sad

Just curious - how do you folks - that are so concerned with the past - deal with the fact that McCain was one of the "Keating Five" in the 1980's "S&L Crisis" aka ripoff?

I'm a Libertarian & I think he and the other 5 should have been sent to prison & barred from public office for life.

Or the family values knuckleheads who quietly ignore that John McCain divorced his first wife, who stood with him while he was in the Hanoi Hilton, after he met a home wrecking trophy wife with gobs of money. Now that's family values you can believe in. :S

John Cleese on Palin

Posted By Jim Moscheck

Hi Morris,

I was going to post this in it's own thread, but since we're talking funny....

Here's Palin on Palin today speaking in Vermont, which, please note, is part of the northeast US and not in New Hampshire. wink She's too dumb for anyone to seriously vote for McCain. Tina Fey could have fun with this gaffe.

UCLA: FDR Prolonged Depression 7 Years

Posted By Jim Moscheck

Dave Snope said:

Actually I'm not sure why they are just figuring this out. I'm pretty sure that Milton Friedman told us this a generation ago. But UCLA puts a number on it.

Now it's up to you to figure out which presidential candidate most closely plans to follow FDR's actions and drive this bus over the cliff to the next great depression.

Way to stay up on current events Dave. Who do you think is best for the economy? I suppose you want to just stay the course? That's been effective. :S
