When cornered on Face The Nation this Sunday morning and asked what he'd do, I about fell off my chair laughing. He said he'd ask the country what we'd like to do, along with congress. Kind of like the townhall discussions on Obamacare. That way, per his reasoning, we'd have a consensus! Yeah, right! Of course, the latter idea, as pointed pout on Face the Nation, would take weeks to complete and by then, Iraq will have fallen to ISIS. OTH, Rand is right, Iraqis won't fight for their own country so what should we? He doesn't see ISIS as an immediate threat to the national security of the nation. That's funny, Fox News commentators do. And, of course, it's all Obama's fault, too...

The Snopehead's version reminds me of a headline in a conservative Santa Clarita newspaper I happened to see the other day when I was out walking my dogs. The headline? STOCK MARKET DROPS 100 POINTS!
OMG, the stock market at the end of the great Bush recession was 7000. Now it's nearly 17000! I suspect it's a safe bet many conservatives like Snope have probably been listening to the great economic depression news forecast for the past several years by conservative gurus and have been left at the train station while the locomotive has bolted onward...

Gas is going up 15 cents/gallon in a few weeks or so. Why? The Obama administration caved into Republicans and two more oil companies have been permitted to export light crude oil. The world oil prices jumped immediately in response and less crude oil will be available for American refineries. He was asleep at the wheel on that one...

Congressman Denied Access To Immigrant Camps

The law that allows undocumented immigrant children from any other country except Mexico to stay in the US was signed into law by Bush. This is the law that is responsible for the current debacle. Obama is now trying to rescind it and Democrats are backing him. It'll be most interesting to see what the Republicans do on this one...
