I dont blame you, I would back away from the conversation were I you too..... smile

That said we pretty much agree on the NV thing.....I followed that stuff for a few months on CN and managed to get some time at the EP of 3 or 4 different NV setups over the last couple years. Decided it wasnt going to be my thing. I greatly prefer sticking with natural magnification......

Seems a bit strange as I have not seen anyone trying to claim they were similar......I see very little similarities in fact.

Rich wasnt making any claims that Jan 6th and the riots where city blocks were set on fire and billions of $ in damages were similar.....Those comparisons were/are made by the left. What occurred on Jan 6th didnt come close to the levels of violence and destruction that went on all through the summer around the country.

Rich pointed out that what occurred in DC was not nearly as bad.....and he is right. He also pointed out that all those on the left calling for heads to roll for Jan 6th are huge hypocrites since they were perfectly willing to ignore all the violence and destruction over the summer around the country.

As far as those who on Jan 6th that did riot, injure cops and destroy property, they should be charged, prosecuted and convicted for their crimes. JUST AS THE ONES RIOTING IN THOSE OTHER CITIES SHOULD HAVE BEEN..... I am certain Rich agrees with that as well. In fact I specifically recall him stating that.

The "bear shit" is slang for bear repellent. A milder form of "pepper spray" (1 to 2% of the active ingredient as compared to the self-defense sprays which are 10% or higher).....Likely purchased that instead of the more potent regular pepper spray because it generally comes in larger sizes thus allowing for multiple uses.

Venmo?

Absolutely NOT......either Paypal or in cash in person, no other considerations except perhaps an escrow service. If they simply refuse to go with either of those then keep moving, another one will eventually come along.

The fact that it costs $15 a year to register here is not that much of a hinderance, helpful yes but certainly no guarantee. Scammers still come through here on a regular basis.

I would look at it somewhat differently if they had a long trading history but an unrated one? Never over a $100 transaction.....Been here a long time and bought quite a lot and that policy has served me well.

Well, you asked smile
