If your neurons in your brain still function and/or you don't have selective amnesia, you'll recall the horrific chemical plant blast in a Texas town that killed more people than an IED in Iraq. Texas governor Perry displayed righteous indignation as he bristled at the audacity of those that thought the lack of business regulations in Texas could possibly be at least partially at fault for the tragedy. In fact, HE demanded an apology from those who could possibly think such a thing. Obviously, he was the victim. Now comes his Texas attorney general to implement the ultimate in regulating a chemical plant in order to prevent a future disaster in the state of Texas. In order to protect its citizens, the state of Texas, as per the decree of the state attorney general, will no longer disclose the location of any chemical plant anywhere in the state! If you want to know where they are, and if you are allowed to go on their property, and if they are willing to tell you, then you may ask! How do you know where to go?

The Kansas governor and his conservative GOP legislature enacted massive tax cuts in order to "stimulate" growth in the state. Bottom line: the state is falling apart.
Why? Instead of attracting new business to the state, EXISTING businesses simply refiled on their tax status in order to take advantage of the cuts. Result: No income for the state!
