A person that doesn't change his mind, in the face of evidence to do so, is an idiot of the first water!

Of course BWG isn't guilty of this very often. He can't make up his mind without the Cheney coach.

You know guys and gals were going to hear just about anything about the two candidates in the next three months.

In fact, so much mud is going to fly that Mr. Clean would have difficulty cleaning it up.

Bush is a coward, Kerry is a liar, Bush is a Reserve hero, Kerry is a purple heart veteran.

Most will be concocted BS. I really don't know what hiding in the reserves or getting purple hearts has to do with running the country. Probably not one damn thing. All it is is slander or exaggerated claims designed to divert your attention to what is really important.

One thing and one thing only; How well do you think they'll run the country? Absolutely nothing else is important. For my two cents worth I'd rather have someone else!

Someone else other than Bush? No, I didn't say that. I said someone else.

I agree with your evaluation of Bush and the environment but I don't expect Kerry to change anything much. He may not make it worse but I don't see any improvement either.

I think as far as the environmentalist go it's just the lesser of the two evils. If you want "green" reform then vote for Nader. As Steinfeld used to say, "Not that there's anything wrong with that."

Ran into a similar situation a couple of years ago on ebay.

Waited and waited, emailed and even called. Then, because it was in BC, Canada called Northwest Mounted Police!

The Sergeant said, "Oh, he's at it again."

To which I mentally kissed off $55. The Sergeant said to call back in a couple of weeks to find out what happened.

I called back later and because it was such a small amount the "crown" didn't press charges but they did confiscate his computer. When they checked it out he had "kiddy" porn on the hard disk so they had him in custody for that charge.

Told the Sergeant that it was all the same to me. All's well that ends well.

Wenatchee!! How do you ever see anything up there? I'm originally from Oregon. Previously from Depoe Bay. I sold my telescope while I was up there because I never could see a darn thing because of the weather on the Oregon Coast.
