As for the subject of the thread, why would I care to comment on MTG's comments?

I couldn't give 2 shits what she said.

Would you care to comment on Sheila Jackson Lee's remarks?

If not, why not?

My comment about You personally was given after you brought me up out of the blue and decided to refer to me as the idiot in Colorado Springs, which proves once again that You, like all leftist Democrats believe that you're entitled to smear anyone you care to with impunity.

So then when You smeared me out of the blue and then expected me not to respond to you verbal attack on me out of the blue I remarked that I must be living rent free in your head 24/7/365 for You to once again have brought me up when I wasn't even in this thread.

That's my take on the thread so far, and as for who is childish, I'd submit that you are since You couldn't resist attacking me out of the blue.

And that of course brings us right back around to the fact that You were the 1st to make a verbal attack on, to which I responded.  smile
You’re right. The best thing is to just ignore you. You don’t need any help in pointing out your weird behavior, your posts speak for themselves.

Trump on the battle at Gettysburg. So vicious and horrible, and so beautiful.

Posted By Jim Moscheck

Here's your choice as the apparent GOP nominee for president, your boy Donny giving his account of the battle at Gettysburg. I'm waiting for the Ken Burns update to his Civil war series.

 https://nymag.com/intelligencer/article/trumps-gettysburg-address-uphill-lee.html

“Gettysburg, what an unbelievable battle that was,” Trump said. “The Battle of Gettysburg. What an unbelievable — it was so much and so interesting, and so vicious and horrible, and so beautiful in so many different ways. It represented such a big portion of the success of this country. Gettysburg, wow.”

“Wow” indeed. Trump continued rambling about Robert E. Lee, lamenting that the Confederate general who fought to preserve slavery is “no longer in favor,” then suggesting that his men had screwed up Lee’s famous directive “Never fight uphill, me boys.” Explained Trump:

Robert E. Lee, who’s no longer in favor — did you ever notice it? He’s no longer in favor. “Never fight uphill, me boys, never fight uphill.” They were fighting uphill. He said, “Wow, that was a big mistake.” He lost his big general. “Never fight uphill, me boys,” but it was too late.

The problem with this account is that Robert E. Lee did not talk like Captain Jack Sparrow or the Lucky Charms leprechaun. The Confederate general didn’t give this command at the Battle of Gettysburg. And as historian T.J. Stiles pointed out on X, several months later the Union won the Battle of Missionary Ridge after soldiers charged uphill to overtake the Confederates."

Jimmy Kimmel explains this better. Jump to 4:36 to see the excerpt of Donny's speech about Gettysburg.

Donny's words are so eloquent that Jimmy went through it line by line @ 6:35. Hilarious.

Watch from the beginning if you want to know a bit more about Donny's trial.

I know I'm waiting with eagerness to hear you give us a history lesson on Robert E. Lee, West Point graduate and second in his class at West Point.

Also, do you agree with tearing down his statue and every other historical statue of anyone in the Confederate Army?  Please do elaborate.

Did you agree with the tearing down of the statue of Frederick Douglass torn down and destroyed by leftist Democrats?

Please do give us your vast knowledge of Robert E. Lee.
LOL. Pretty sure he didn't talk like a pirate or a leprechaun.

Or, did Lee give this command at Gettysburg?

So, Einstein, tell me. The subject wasn't Robert E. Lee, it was your beloved idiot of a nominee Donny 'me boy. Care to elaborate on his eloquently spoken words?

What was beauitul about 50,000 Americans casualties at Gettysburg?

Fixed an edit above.

I didn't bring it up you loser, Trump did. Try reading about and watching some video of the man sometime.

The title of the thread says Trump on the battle, not what I said about Robert E. Lee.

Dodgeball Davis at his finest.

You do know that all of the text in the first post was a quote from the article that I linked to, right?

He was pretty direct in his assertion.  I didn't see Jim M. equivocate, so I called him out as a liar which he is.

Then when challenged to provide proof of his lie, he ran away and avoided answering.

Do you want to answer?  smile
You are a liar. I never said Trump said that. Trump said the battle was beautiful among many other stupid descriptors. I asked what was beautiful about 50,000 casualties. Not the same thing Einstein.

You either have a severe mental disorder or you choose to be disingenuous in your responses. I suggest getting professional help.

To fact you were we’re waiting in the weeds for days for someone to post something, pounced within seconds with your usual tactics of attacking the messenger and not the message, then failing so miserably at it is just hilarious. Way to go Einstein.

Oh, this is where you bring up something from the past out of context to attack the messenger. Oh, I see you’ve already done that. Lame as usual. Your shtick is getting old, pal.
