The reason I say the prosecution was bogus was due to the numerous corrupt actions of the prosecutor.
He should be up in front of the Bar to answer as to why he should not be disbarred IMO.
The latest was what we found out yesterday from the Daily Mail, when they came upon the knowledge that the prosecutor lied and kept an attacker named Maurice Freeland off the witness stand and lied to both the court and the defense when they claimed they didn't know the name of the attacker who chased and tried to kick Kyle Rittenhouse in the face that night, and Kyle Rittenhouse shot at him twice and missed.
They lied and said they didn't know the name when they had personally met with the man, yet the Daily Mail found out that they had met with him, and they used the video IN court to try and say that Kyle Rittenhouse was just randomly shooting at people.
They denied the defense the right to challenge the witness on the stand.
What do you think of that?
Should he be disbarred for doing that?
That is just one of the reasons IMO he should be UP on Charges of Prosecutorial Misconduct, and threatened with jail time himself.
I doubt seriously that you support that kind of egregious actions by these rogue prosecutors do you?
This is why the legal system in this nation is quickly becoming dangerous to ordinary citizens when a prosecutor can railroad a person into prison and they have all the money and power of the state to go after a person like Kyle Rittenhouse full bore charging him to the hilt.
The guy is a complete disgrace and so I heartily disagree with you.
This prosecutor charged within 48 hours.
He was looking to make a name for himself and he had prosecutorial discretion to decide not to charge Rittenhouse.
He saw the evidence, and excused ALL the violence and attempts to kill Kyle Rittenhouse BY the MOB.
I did not watch enough of the trial to have an opinion whether the prosecutor engaged in sanctionable misconduct. The coverage is sooooo biased it is hard to tell. I do trust the system to the end though. If the prosecutor did something sanctionable, he'll probably get sanctioned. If he did not, then I'll accept the decisions of the attorney disciplinary commission in WI. I've never been sanctioned, and I hope I never am, but in most states, the disciplinary commission is really aggressive. They publish the "public" sanctions each month here, (public admonitions all the way to disbarment,) and sometimes I think, "yikes..." Not for disbarment offenses of course, but sometimes for the lesser sanctions. Jim
