I do watch it sometimes more than CNN because it actually has news, however biased, when CNN has something like Anthony Bordain eating at someplace in the planet. I also like to hear conservative viewpoints from time to time but in many instances the bias is such that it's hard to take...

"When the Iraqis stand up, we will stand down." George W Bush.
He certainly knew what he was talking about, now didn't he? I guess that's why guys like Rich and Greg voted for him(twice)...

Happy Hijabs To You

"The EEOC reported the Muslims file more employment and discrimination claims than any other religious group."
http://www.nbcnews.com/news/asian-america/u-s-supreme-court-favor-elauf-abercrombie-fitch-case-n367771
I don't frequent that store because it's not in my age bracket and I'm not in theirs but when I do accompany my daughter there I don't feel age discrimination is a factor on my behalf. Personally, I can't stand the loud music and I worry about the impact it may have on the hearing of their young employees and I usually wait outside until my daughter decides to leave. OTH, if a store has a dress code and a policy, then I think they have a right to enforce it and I don't believe they should be required to hire someone who insists upon wearing a hijab ot comes to an interview dressed as a nun. As I understand it, the wearing of a hijab is not a requirement in the Quran and if that's the case then I question whether wearing one is a tenet of one's religion. I recall that some American Muslim women started wearing theirs after 9/11 as some sort of statement on their identity or something to that effect. If the latter is correct, then it becomes a political statement and not a religious one. If the claim that Muslim women wear their hijabs because of "modesty", then I question the validity of that claim for someone wanting to work in the store in question, given the fashions being exhibited on a daily basis along with the posters, blaring music and the more expressive younger crowd expecting it...

A dumb ass ISIS devotee takes a selfie with his command and control center in the background and tweets it across social media. The airforce detects it, sends in the F-16s and bombs the shit out of it!

This is what a "worldwide" protest is all about:

It's obviously not a problem if Hawaii is over run by hotels, condos, timeshares and tourists and the light pollution and traffic and everything else that goes with it, BUT that 14% of area that might be glimpsed as a telescope is the last straw...

It's Been A Bang up Start!

Yup, it's that time of the year again. Time for our annual Ramadan bombathon, now exploding in a country near you. First, that all important number, better known as the KILL COUNT: 993 and we're only at day ten!
Next up on our scorecard: wracked-up but wounded: 985! And that's out of only 98 terror attacks! Look at the ratio!
Again, it's that time tested methodology at work: don't turn them, behead them! Did you ever want your boss's head on a pole? This guy did:

Vacationing in France this summer? Be prepared to be screened at museums, cultural icons and public events by sub-machine gun-toting darthvader-like private security contractors screening your butt with a metal detector anytime you make a move. All made possible by (extremist) Islamist proponents of the religion of peace...
