I have a 12" LX200GPS and want to start doing CCD. What would be the most logical starting camera to begin with without out growing it the first week?

Are the F numbers in telescopes the same as for camera lens? As in 1.4 lets in twice as much light as 2.8? I got to wondering about that for focal reducers. Sure the field is wider but how 'bout the light?

Mirror cell for 16 F5

I just got a 16" F5 Nova mirror that I will need a cell for. Can anyone give me some ideas as to where I can buy one in case I decide not to make my own. I think I want a 9 point tailgate style like used in the Obsessions.

Eyepiece advice

I want a super eyepiece in the 15mm range. I have been very happy with the Meade 2" Superwide and Ultrawide series. Of course I am considering the 14mm 2" they make. I do wear eyeglasses but remove them for viewing. What do you think? Is there something out there that will become my favorite?

I am buiding a 18 point cell for a 16" mirror. I have the bars and triangles cut per "the book". However I am not sure how loose the plates should be. How much movement is correct?

PhotoShop Layers go RGB?

Just a thought from my limited understanding of the subject.
Can I use the B+W images captured by my PC 164C camera and stack them in Photoshop with RGB (or whtever) layers to do the same thing as filters at the time of capture?
