I like the 1rpd (aka BW-Optik) 30mm UWA. It's less than $100, and works very well in my f/10 SCT. It should work pretty well in your f/8 as well. It is an 80 degree AFOV, 5 element modified Erfle. Light throughput is excellent, and there's no kidney beaning etc. Eye relief is a claimed 20mm, but feels closer to about 15m-17mm (IMO). Field stop is 41mm.

I think this is the best value for money ep available, bar none.

Hi Joseph,

You can use it, but you will need to get a 2" visual back for the scope. Mercury Systems Support, TeleVue, AP etc etc, all make them.

I've had many items shipped from the US via USPS (Global Priority, Express and Parcel Post) to Australia without any issues. Two weeks is nothing given the holiday season generally slows things down horribly. You'll probably find that the package only took a few days to get to the UK, but now sits in customs gathering dust. It's happened to me a few times. I had a diagonal take 4 weeks to arrive and customs didn't even hold it..it just seemed to crawl across the pacific. I've had Parcel Post stuff arrive quicker than Express or Priority packages - there's no rhyme or reason, somethings are inexplicable.


Please don't stop selling stuff to us international Astromarters. I rely on Astromart to puchase items either unavailable here or simply priced out of my reach by local retailers.
