I think not. The leaders of the Dem party never would have allowed a woman to have that much power. As they later demonstrated, they were intent on doing whatever was necessary to get their inexperienced Affirmative Action figure into the general.

Oh, I agree...Altho it may`ve helped Hillary early on, there`s no way that the MSM let`s the new kid on the block...this self-appointed new kind of politician who was gonna clean up Wash...their Affirmative action candidate...lose the Dem. nom...no matter how much weaker he polled against McCain!...

Pelosi, Dean, Reid, etc., got their candidate...truth-be-known, a candidate Dean, etc., started making plans for...the moment Kerry lost the 04 election!...Later, I might even provide proof of this! 8)

It`s an interesting read, tho...threads on it are at just about all of the 230+ JSND sites...but I haven`t read any responses yet...might be interesting to post a few of them here... wink 8) j/k

Buying the Democratic Nomination!

Posted By Jim E. Gleason

BO Corruption at it`s finest!...the SD`s that didn`t get paid off by BO...got paid off by Pelosi and friends...to vote for this Fraud!...

Really...do you want this Fraud in the WH??!

Excerpt,

"Of the thirty-eight Members of Congress Pelosi gave money to, sixteen went against the grain for Obama. This means, their state voted for Hillary, their district voted for Hillary, yet they endorsed Obama. Why? Follow the money.

John Alder NJ $2500 from Pelosi Alder endorses Obama
Jason Altmire PA $10k from Pelosi Altmire endorses Obama
Andre Carson IN $10k from Pelosi Aarson endorses Obama
Joe Connelly IN $10k from Pelosi Donnnelly endorses Obama
Gabrielle Giffords AZ $10k from Pelosi Giffords endorses Obama
Baron Hill IN $10k from Pelosi Hill endorses Obama
Ron Klein FL $10k from Pelosi Klein endorses Obama
Nick Lampson TX $7500 from Pelosi Lampson endorses Obama
Tim Mahoney FL $10k from Pelosi Mahoney endorses Obama
Jerry McNerney CA $10k from Pelosi McNerney endorses Obama
Harry Mitchell AZ $10k from Pelosi Mitchell endorses Obama
Patrick Murphy PA $10k from Pelosi Murphy endorses Obama
Joe Sestak PA $10k from Pelosi Sestak endorses Obama
Carol Shea Porter NH $10k from Pelosi Shea Porter endorses Obama
Zachary Space OH $10k from Pelosi Space endorses Obama
Niki Tsongas MA $10k from Pelosi Tsongas endorses Obama

By endorsing Obama, all of these Members of Congress went against the will of their constituents, twice, at the state level and at the district level. Only two members who received money from Pelosi’s PAC went against the grain and endorsed Hillary.

Is sixteen against the grain for Hillary and two against the grain for Obama a coincidence?

Pelosi’s contributions to the campaigns of state representatives followed a similar pattern. Sixty-three percent of the state representatives to whom Pelosi gave money, endorsed Obama in a state won by Clinton.

Ten thousand dollars, PAC to the FUTURE’s typical contribution, doesn’t seem like a lot of money but besides getting money from PAC TO THE FUTURE, most of these members got contributions from other PACs.

These contributions were most likely orchestrated by Pelosi and company since the overlap is too startling. Congressman James Clyburn from South Carolina has BRIDGE PAC. BRIDGE PAC gave money to all but two of these same members of congress. Steny Hoyer from Maryland has AMERIPAC. AMERIPAC gave money to almost every single one of these same members of congress. Typical donations from both of these PAC’S were $10,000.

And then there is the NATIONAL LEADERSHIP PAC and the NEW DEMOCRAT COALITION, and of course there is the HOPE FUND owned by Barack Obama. All of these PACs donated an average of $10,000 to most of their campaigns. These young representatives got a lot of pressure to endorse Obama no matter which way their district or state voted. The voices of their constituents were irrelevant.

It seems Obama was just posing as a Washington outsider. But in reality—all the real Washington insiders Pelosi, Dean, Kennedy, Clyburn, Hoyer, and Kerry were on his team all along. Pelosi’s Pac might be named PAC to the Future, but it took direct action to purposely undermine the first significant female candidate for the presidency in history. In so doing, she pushed women back decades."

ACTION: Call Pelosi’s office at 415-556-4862 and let her know how you feel. Let’s not just call her biased against women; let’s call her finished."

FIGHT FOR DEMOCRACY, BEFORE IT DISAPPEARS.

This has to get out to the main media -the American voters need to know why their representatives did not honor their votes! :S

How the Fraud Will Win Ohio!

Posted By Jim E. Gleason

Well, the fraud is actually out in the open now! Hmm... I wonder who's behind this "new law" that allows same day registration with no IDs needed at registration!

An Excerpt,

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Never mind the last days of the presidential campaign. The busiest days for Barack Obama's campaign in this perennial swing state are likely to be a month before Election Day.

Ohio has created a window in the election calendar that would allow residents instant gratification - register one minute, vote the next. It's also given the campaigns of Democrat Barack Obama and Republican John McCain a chance to bank thousands of first-time voters during that Sept. 30 to Oct. 6 window.

The move will benefit Obama, who enjoys a 2-to-1 lead over McCain among 18- to 34-year-olds, according to a Washington Post-ABC News poll released last month. If Obama's campaign were able to tap into college campuses with one-stop voting, it would add thousands of votes to his tally in a state where, in 2004, John Kerry lost to President Bush by only about 118,000 votes, putting Bush over the top in the electoral count.

Of the more than 470,000 students enrolled in Ohio's public colleges and universities in 2006, the most recent figures available, nine out of 10 were Ohio residents, the state Board of Regents said. To register to vote in Ohio, a person must be a resident of the state for at least 30 days immediately before an election.

Ohio elections officials say they are working out potential kinks, such as questions about whether a vote counts when it is cast or when it's counted. They also are trying to address potential fears of massive voting fraud, and what effect this influx is going to mean on vote security.

Allowing voters to cast their ballots weeks before Election Day is a growing trend. More than a dozen states permit early voting, and more than two dozen provide an absentee ballot to any registered voter for any reason. The battleground states of Colorado, Florida, Nevada and New Mexico allow voters both options.

In Ohio, Republicans are clearly not pleased with same-day registration and voting and have not ruled out a lawsuit against Democratic Secretary of State Jennifer Brunner's office.

"You have to wonder, when they look at what they consider a loophole with such excitement," said Jason Mauk, the Ohio Republican Party's executive director. "That would suggest manipulating the process, and I think opens the door to suspicion."

The voting window, so far, is only being implemented in some counties _ typically, urban areas or those with college campuses _ leading Republicans to cry foul.

"The prospect of someone coming in with no ID and registering and voting is contrary to every sort of protection that legislators and lawmakers have built into this system for decades," said Kevin DeWine, a Republican lawmaker who is poised to take over the state party after the election. "The processes and the law and the systems in our 88 counties are not equipped to handle same-day registration."

People in Ohio can register without identification, but they have to show some sort of ID to vote.

State lawmakers accidentally made the window before the 2006 elections. Obama's campaign is eager to take advantage of it this year.

"This is one of many ways we'll be encouraging our supporters to skip the lines on Election Day and make sure their vote is cast early," said Isaac Baker, an Obama spokesman.

Obama Makes Another Boneheaded & Dangerous Stateme

Posted By Jim E. Gleason

Because BO is ignorant, inexperienced, and incompetent, he said we need to get a UN Resolution against Russia.

Joseph Lieberman, etc...and even Karl Rove, from the right, on O’Reilly said, "Doesn’t he know that as permanent members of the UN Security Council, Russia could veto such a resolution against them?"

ROTFLMAO! Can you imagine the controversy and laughing stock he’d make the US if he issued that statement as president.

The man is DANGEROUS.

He really is boneheaded on history and foreign affairs, geography and a lot more. BAAADDDDDD!!!

United Nations Security Council veto power
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The United Nations Security Council ’power of veto’ refers to the veto power wielded solely by the five permanent members of the United Nations Security Council,[1] enabling them to prevent the adoption of any ’substantive’ draft Council resolution, regardless of the level of international support for the draft. The veto does not apply to procedural votes, which is significant in that the Security Council’s permanent membership can vote against a ’procedural’ draft resolution, without necessarily blocking its adoption by the Council.

The veto is exercised when any permanent member — the so-called ’P5’ — casts a "negative" vote on a ’substantive’ draft resolution. Abstention, or absence from the vote by a permanent member does not prevent a draft resolution from being adopted.

YouTube Video of BO saying it,

Just keep in mind that both the YouTube Video and Wikipedia back this up...so it doesn`t matter much if Rove is one of the sources...or even Santa Claus!...for that matter!...

Jerome Corsi Fights Back! - YouTube Video

Posted By Jim E. Gleason

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X6LtCiXDBak

Jerome Corsi was on Fox and Friends Friday, August 15th and was interviewed by host Steve Doocy.

Corsi refuted the charge that his book about BO is being bought in bulk and that is why it is at the top of the charts.

But best of all, Corsi calls out the Stalinists for their thug tactics, including the Daily Kos.

As we all knew would happen, Corsi has received death threats and someone posted his address on the Daily Kos and asked people to harass him there.

Well, by Corsi bringing this up, it both exposes what Hillary supporters have been exposed to for months...for the world to see...and, thus, makes it harder for the thugs to repeat such methods in the future.

Just as the, ’race card’, was deflected away from Obama by Team McCain, Corsi has now attempted to take away the, ’Stalinist’, card, which many of his supporters often play! Thug is really an understatement, tho.

If this keeps up, a certain someone may be asked to rescue the party from this guy and his Chicago-Style politics...which have no place at the National level!

Obama`s Caucus Cheating Exposed!

Posted By Jim E. Gleason

Please keep in mind that this site was made by a Democrat!!!

http://www.lynettelong.com/CAUCUSFRAUD/

An Excerpt,

In two weeks, the Democratic Party will formally nominate Barack Obama as its candidate for President of the United States.

It’s the triumph of fraud.

I’ve spent the past two months immersed in data from the 2008 Democratic caucuses. After studying the procedures and results from all fourteen caucus states, interviewing dozens of witnesses, and reviewing hundreds of personal stories, my conclusion is that the Obama campaign willfully and intentionally defrauded the American public by systematically undermining the caucus process.

This site represents the fruits of my research. It’s a work in progress, obviously, and also a central repository for a vast array of data: articles and blog posts from around the web, personal emails to me, interviews with witnesses, affidavits and testimonials, campaign communications, and videos of the caucuses themselves.

I have elected to make this information public. I hope that it sheds light on the caucus process and inspires reform or total elimination of the caucuses. I also hope it gives pause to those Democrats who believe that Barack Obama is the rightful nominee and that Hillary supporters should just "get over it." I have been a Democrat my entire life, but I will not support the Democratic Party at the cost of democracy.

Obama gets 3 to 1 more coverage than McCain. "Obama has generated a lot of news by being the first African American nominee". They point out his inexperience as another reason for swooning over the guy, but the number one reason is his race. Typically libs will call anything not positive as racist, when IMO increasing coverage because of race is racist. Put another way McCain gets less coverage because of his race and because he actually has experience.

Re: Significance of VP choice

Posted By Jim E. Gleason

Jim Babcock said:

Would a choice of Lieberman as McCain's running mate or Biden as Obama's impact anyone's decision on who to vote for?

IMO this combination would help McCain. Biden is as some call him a pitbull. It simply makes Obama look even worse because he is admitting his weakness. As such a mean spirited guy Biden would counter any of the attacks about McCain's temperament. I like Liberman and he is the kind of Dem that many on the right would vote for. McCain needs help by getting a partner who will help provide a reason to vote for him except for his relative experience and people just wanting to vote against Obama.

If not this combination, have you heard/read about any other probable/interesting match ups?

I`ve seen polls which suggest that if McCain picks an African-American, he`ll take enough of the AA vote from BO to win the election...no matter who BO picks...
