Nice!

Posted By Pete Brayton

In Ohio: Controversy arose earlier this week after complaints that the Republican election board members were voting to allow extended hours in conservative leaning counties, while denying the same hours in counties with urban areas which tend to vote Democrat. Democrat members would vote against it and Secretary of State Jon Husted, a Republican, would break the tie votes in favor of Republicans.

After outcries, Husted ordered standardized times across the state Wednesday.

Which rightist on this thread wants to come forth and offer their apology for this blatant attempt by the right to steal the election? Or...you could just go back and delete all of your previous posts about how only those on the left are cheats!

On my neighbors roof

I believe it is a Great Horned Owl. It stuck around for a few photos and then flew off. I thought it was a bit odd since it was maybe 3 pm but it was kind of cloudy/gloomy. Lots of rabbits in the neighborhood so its good hunting grounds. I just hope the folks with the Yorkies and other small dogs have them inside. We quickly made sure our cat was inside.

America's Cup Yacht Race in San Francisco

Anybody watching it? It has been very exciting with Oracle Team USA winning the last 7 races in a row to tie things up at 8 points apiece. Tomorrow is the last race, whoever wins gets the Auld Mug. Good stuff! Go OTUSA smile

This is a single shot jpeg with in-camera noise reduction applied. Nikon D50 with Nippon Kogaku Nikkor 85mm at f/4; 360 seconds. Used a friend's Losmandy G11 for tracking; taken at Black Mesa State Park, Oklahoma panhandle. My intervalometer quit so I chose to take jpegs.
