I to waited but went with the Maxscope 40 instead. I just received it this week and am very satisfied with it.

PST Finally On The Way !!!

I bought a Celestron Nexstar 60GT. I use the mount and sold the OTA. I had to use a foam weather stripping in the mount to hold it firmly in place. Works quite well.

If you don't plan on astrophotography, then this scope is not to bad. The hand controller is around $50 US but I think you just need to short two pins together when you power up the scope for southern hemisphere operation. If the price is right, go for it!

He needs to delete the rating he gave you by going into his main account menu and under ratings click on Ratings I have given and delete yours. Hope this helps.

I believe Anacortes sells these type scopes. I would give them a call and ask for their opinion. This way it helps keep Astromart alive and they wouldn't steer you wrong. Just my 2 cents.

I sense the transaction is probably a good one. I have been given bogus UPS tracking numbers before due to typo's (spelling errors)and upon contact of the sender find out the true number. In this case of not being able to contact him, like Ivan said, he might be out of town or having email problems. I sent a scope to Australia and it took a month due to customs! So give it some time due to that.
