Meshal - most people on Astromart live in North America, it's probably the international shipping requirement that is making people hesitant.  The shipping cost will be high, and if something goes wrong with the deal, it will be expensive to return the item.

A lot of sellers in Asia try to offer free international shipping to buyers I"m sure that would help.  You could offer to pay the Paypal fee which gives buyers protection from bad deals.

Ultimately you may have to sell at a lower price a few times to establish a track record.  Lower prices always help items sell quickly.   Good luck,

-Scott

Hey Tom - I know this post is several years old now, but I'm wondering if your eyepiece and diagonal studies are posted anywhere online?  I'd love to read those papers.  Thanks,

Best eyepieces for use with Tak FCT 100 advice ?

What's up Bruce.  That's an f/6.4 scope?  I would go with Pentax XW30.  It's my favorite low-power eyepiece for f/5-f/6 scopes.

Lunar and planetary, why not some Tak Abbe orthos.  Or 5mm 7.5mm Tak LE.  These may not be available soon due to being discontinued, it's a great time to acquire them.

The 5mm and 7.5mm Tak LE's are not going to match the eye relief of something like a Pentax XW.  They're a compromise between an XW and an ortho.  They have 5 elements for more contrast than the 7-8 element XW's.

The eye relief is much better than orthos in that range, I find it perfectly comfortable, but if you're wearing glasses you might have to take on the extra glass of a 5mm or 7mm XW to get comfortable.

I just came here to post about the same thing - I'm getting tormented by excessive captcha screens!  Like 8 or 10 in a row.....

How much longer can this last?  I assume AI will be able to easily outwit this thing and it will go obsolete soon......

DO NOT USE UPS FOR SHIPPING ANYMORE

Posted By Scott Mortimer

UPS is collapsing as a company, DO NOT use them for shipping.  And be aware - if ordering internationally, if the sender uses EMS, it will come through UPS.  You must use DHL or Fedex instead.

UPS has suddenly descended into petty extorition and theft.  They are trying to overcharge people on tariffs, and holding packages as leverage.   This is not a rumor or internet chatter, it is happening to me as I write this.  They are destroying peoples' boxes.

DO NOT use UPS again.  They are refusing to spend the money to hire enough people to operate their company, choosing extortion or theft instead.   This is not a universal problem - DHL, Fedex, and USPS are not doing any of this malfeasance - only UPS.

UPS is 'disposing of' U.S.-bound packages over customs paperwork problems

Shifting Trump tariffs have created a nightmare for UPS, as thousands of packages from overseas pile up at its hubs while they await customs clearance.
