I never bother with an add that says make an offer. Ain't worth the trouble. The person selling should know what he/she needs to get out of the item. Then there is the wait until the person is sure they will get the most for it. Count me out.

When you put something on the internet in a public place, I would think anyone can do whatever they want with it.

I do about 90% of viewing with an 8mm Delos eyepiece that gives 190 power in my 10". It works good for almost all objects, including the moon and planets. Open clusters and star fields being the exception. This power is also supported well by my average local seeing.

Mine was recently stolen for the 3rd time. The only place it is on file is PayPal, I blame them. I haven't used the card in about a year. I cancelled my PayPal account and don't ever plan on using them again.

Facebook is a cancer. I don't let it link to any web sites.

Like location is in real estate, it's all about the seeing, provided you have decent optics. I had one of those Saturn moments years ago with a 10" reflector in a city location. It was after midnight and I had set everything out on the porch early to cool down. I was going to take some pictures of Saturn when it got overhead late in the night. The view was jaw dropping. I'm still waiting for another night like that one. One of the pictures I took that night even made it into Astronomy magazine. This was back when film was the only game in town. Digital was still a word unknown to the picture taking public as were home computers.

This is exactly why we have wars. People just can't get along for any length of time. We get on each others nerves. It's kind of like rush hour. Your driving in the country and come to a 4 way stop with another car. The guy waves you to go first. Now drive in rush hour where everyone is on top of everyone else and people will give you the finger, not let you merge on the freeway or let you out into traffic. We don't like crowds for some reason. Just human nature.
