1st v4 Registax - Solar

Gave v4 of Registax a shot first thing this morning. Unfortunately I had a number of problems with the program. Anyway, after a few hours on my Lunar images I gave up however I finally was able to process a Solar image.

Hi,

If I'm not supposed to discuss software here, just let me know and I'll delete this message thread. Since I can't stand the slowness of Yahoo groups, I'd rather ask here since we have folks in the know.

I've been having a lot of problems with Registax v4. As for one, can someone tell me why this is happening (see image below). This has happened with numerous attempts with different files that have worked with v3.

Looking for someone that actually owns a case with wheels for a C14 ... Scopeguard, Pelican 1650 etc.? Looking for opinions from those who own or have owned one of these cases (with wheels).

C14 first light Lunar - Janssen

Hi,

Setup my C14 last night for its first light. Seeing, trans, slight clouds along with a light breeze. Not an easy task by myself (setting it up). 8O I would appreciate it if someone would identify the craters for me. I was in a hurry and didn't have a plan. shocked

Lunar processing help(?)

Hello,

Can someone tell me what causes the over exposed areas (white areas) by the craters and how to prevent them? Plus, is there a way to get rid of them processing wise? If so, what is the technique? I have reduced the size of this image to 1024 in width for posting. I have ImagesPlus, Photoshop, Iris, yada, yada.
