I have been regularly following the classifieds as I always do, but in the last 3-4 days the time stamp seems to be off by maybe 8 hours early? That is, for my time zone, I should be seeing new ads come up at say 0900 for example, but am only seeing ones at least 8 hr, around 0100.

I checked this early, mid and late in the day and it is the same. 
I also thought maybe my own time zone setting had been changed, but that was not it either. 
I am thinking of posting an ad just for test, but wanted to check first.

Well, posting my comment above provided the data that I  needed:

I posted it at 0953 local time, and it shows as if I posted it at 0153 Astromart time.

Thanks for the quick answer, but Greenwich is the wrong direction for the time stamp error.


My time is set correctly at GMT-9 (I am in Alaska) and I have checked that at least 3 times in the last few days.  The Astromart time stamp is off 8 hours to the west (somewhere in Russia). So, when I posted the original at 0953 Alaska time, the time stamp said 0153  and GMT is 1853 to my east.

Yes, it is really weird.  The only solution I have a the moment is to set my own time zone (Alaska) to be Moscow time. When I do that, the time stamp on the classifieds is correct.

Interestingly, in the post right before mine on some problems with time stamps in messages, the moderator said the time clock was out of sync, and that it would reset correctly in 24 hr...that was almost a week ago.

See my post about "Is the time stamp correct for classifieds?" just a few days ago. Something is wrong with the time stamp on Astromart right now. I am in Alaska an hour west of you, and to make my time stamp correct, I had to set my "local" time to Moscow, Russia.

Test to see if this is corrected yet...setting -9GMT for Alaska....up to today, I had to select a time zone near Moscow, Russia to make it work for Alaska. 
I am writing this at 22:21 on 2/16.

Yep....it looks like something changed in the main server in the last 5 hr that has set the correct time zones now.
