Top Gear

Andreas…

My son-in-law got me started on Top Gear, also about 6 months ago. I agree with your assessment. It's a great show.

World Series

I took about 500 photos before, during, and after Game 2, but I will only subject y'all to 22. I took more photos before the game than during or after for several reasons: better lighting beforehand, during the game we were more wrapped up eating and cheering, and during the game there was so much stand-up/sit-down action that quite a few photos were ruined because the other fans were quicker than my trigger finger.

I used my Olympus E-1 with 8mm fisheye, 11-22mm wide angle, 50-200mm telephoto (w/ & w/o 1.4x teleconverter), and 500mm manual focus mirror lens. Multiply focal lengths by 2 for 35mm equivalent fields of view. Our seats were near the left field foul pole (Section 132, Row 22, for those of you know AT&T Park). All of these photos were taken from within about 25 feet of my seat.

That's a nice series. I especially like #3 and #4. Reflections are among my favorite style.

Two excellent illuminated landscapes. I've fooled around with this technique, but need to try some more.
