Now that the migrants from Syria are reportedly being resettled in Southern California, specifically in Pomona and Cypress, and given a stipend of $1000.00 and pre-supplied with middle eastern foods, shuttles to doctors appointments, perhaps for disability assessments from their traumatic upheavals, and various other interviews, isn't about time that we stand up and demand equality for our migrants? Why aren't we giving stipends to migrants coming across our borders? Why aren't they being given ethnic eats? Who shuttles them to their doctor's appointments and other interviews? Isn't time we welcome them like they welcome migrants in Europe? Let's hear it for our migrants for a change!
