Bush enviornmental policies are working.

You might recall the movie Soylent Green. It was made in 1973 with Charlton Heston and Edward G. Robinson.

It's sort of like 1984. We're not there yet, but we're sure as hell on our way there.

After all, reducing the SO2 and CO2 is going to cause real difficulty in the gross national product and that is what really important isn't it? And what the hell, who needs the Kyoto Accord anyway?(Of course I'm not serious, so don't jab back at that)

Anyone that thinks we're doing anything significant in reducing the pollution of this planet is out to lunch. But "pollution" is entirely and objective statement. Let's face it folks, the planet doesn't care! If we pollute ourselves out of existence we'll just go the way of the dinosaur and the planet will keep on turning till something else pops up.

If you believe in reincarnation, you might come back as a cockroach

Right on Paul. Isn't that just sweet!

We're given the "Word of God" because nobody said anything. It's been going like that ever since!

Yeah, guys and gals just give it another 1000 years and Mel Gibson's movie "The Passion of the Christ" will be included in the Bible as "the real word of God"

Or do you fail to see the analogy?

David:

If you want to give your head a real twirl pick up "The End of Time: The Next Revolution in Physics" by Julian Barbour.

I read it a couple of years ago and if you can wrap your mind around the matrix analogies it makes a very interesting read.

He feels there is really no such thing as time. That time exists present, past and future simultaneously and the perceived passage is our transition from one frame to another. The "frames" are extremely short instances of time like down to the Planks time period.

Keep in mind, this guy is no slouch. He's a highly respected physicist.

Go slow when he's talking about the multi-dimensional matrices and the book will fall into place.

Clamshell Observatories

They have one up at Hopkins. There are actual two companies that produce essentially the same product.

I talked with Trevor Weekes about it and he says it works pretty good. They remote the dome and use it for one purpose only and that's to test atmospheric clarity.

I was going to buy one when we lived in Sun City West but since we moved the CC&R's won't allow one that big so as soon as the house is completed I'm putting in a Robo-Dome.

Bush Tax Cuts Extended

Posted By Darrell Fichtl

Now let me see, isn't this a good analogy:

I'm way over extended in my credit card debit. I mean way over extended, and the credit card companies call and lower my payments and tell me to keep on charging.

At the same time they add a provision that when I die my kids have to pay off my debit. (At, most likely, a higher interest rate)

Isn't that about it? Does that make much sense to you?
