Re-support!

Posted By James Brown
I enjoyed Herb's recent reply to Tom Simmons so much that I just re-upped my support. I see that the reply has been deleted and I suppose it had to be, but it was definitely worth the price of admission!

Thanks, Jim

Wow!

Yikes, I go up into the mountains for a long and very enjoyable weekend and boom - about 350 new posts between here and "Politics" I'm not sure how anyone can keep up!

So, I'm not even going to try. Here are some pics of our weekend adventure - which was definitely "No Holds Barred." I'm the geezer sitting front-left. #2 son is middle-right. Wife Linda is the smiley one sitting back seat-right just in front of #1 son, who is our professional guide!

Censorship!

Posted By James Brown
Made you look, didn't I wink

Anyway, this is not about the many inspired forum posts that have recently disappeared. This is about California, the dreaded "Nanny State" the First Amendment and who gets to raise the kids; parents or the state.

Not surprisingly, a while back California passed a law restricting the sale of a whole class of video games to minors. (Violent games in particular) Day before yesterday, the Supremes struck down this California nanny statute.

Those of you who think that Nanny-ism is the worst of all evils should be encouraged.

These unbelievable photos of mating rattlesnakes were taken yesterday by a close friend - in her driveway. Truly spectacular!

Fierce Beast

This chap "threatened" us this past Saturday, during a lovely hike in Rocky Mountain National Park. Its a federal crime to feed these guys, apparently he/she didn't get the memo!

Colorado Color

Hi all:

Here are a few pictures from this weekend in Rocky Mountain National Park. The aspen were just starting to turn, but the bushes and groundcover up near tree line were magnificent.

There have to be a few Ray and Cardinal fans here? What a couple of Septembers, what a pair of games - heck what a pair of final innings!
