The title of this thread was a post made in Rod's awesome LP news thread. I was going to hijack that thread with this, but thought better of it.

I guess this isn't good news to those in the Putin wing of the astromart forum. Figures. 

I'm sure he's not really an amateur astronomer anyways. Why he pays Herb the fee just to post in this little backwater political forum on the internet is beyond me. I post here because I like the people who post here, well, mostly.  (emoji used just for Davis this one time).

Oh, here's where I'll be accused of him living rent free in my head. Whatever, he's the most polarizing individual on the forum and I just find it interesting that all of us here now (and some who now only lurk) are pretty much friends despite our political differences. 

I found this song on YouTube and that fellow in Colorado Springs can use it as his theme song. Too bad the chorus can't play every time we read a new post from the habitual liar. Now that would be awesome.

Really, I do wish everyone could be friends, it just that these days some individuals make that an impossible feat.

Today is sunny and hot already and just got back from a 10 mile ride on my bicycle. Time for a dip in the pool to cool off, although the water temp is at 85ºF. We've had mid July temps since late May and early June with high 80's and low 90's since. If this keeps up, along with he mild winters we've been having, I may get to plant that palm tree I've always wanted by the pool.
