There is a great irony in this obvious problem:

"President-elect Donald Trump and his emerging team are confident their proposed tax cuts and regulatory rollbacks will spark a dramatic upswing in economic growth.
Two forces will make that tough: an aging population and stagnant productivity.
For years, Wall Street and government forecasters have waxed pessimistic on the economy’s capacity for sustained growth, pointing to multiple reasons it has diminished since the 1990s. Perhaps most important, demographic trends have produced slower growth in the working population. And the U.S. and other advanced economies are grappling with sluggish gains in productivity, for reasons that aren’t wholly clear."
We area actually already behind the curve in many ways. Farmers here in California do not have access to legal or illegal workers to harvest crops even when offering north of $15/hr for example. My business constantly recruits skilled programmers in our field because of the lack of supply. We never can hire enough because of the lack of qualified candidates.
I'm very confident Pres. Trump will ignite robust growth. Hell, after he last 8 miserable years under Pres. Obama, the slightest whiff of supply-side economics will ignite an explosion.
Ironically, Trump will find it absolutely necessary to loosen immigration to meet labor demands in the US, both skilled and unskilled...even after taking away "right-to-NOT-work" excesses of the last administration.
Trump said he'll be making carrier-type deals "all across the country" so you can forget about the need for more immigration. Other than the likes of SARAH PALIN decrying the deal, Trump managed to save 800 jobs and not 1000 or 1800 as erroneously reported on Faux News.

'Moreover, Trump heads to office with an annualized growth rate of 3.2% already in place and along with his own projected growth rate of 4%, based upon his own fuzzy math, the economy will just be humming....
