There are so many things Trump has said over the past nine years that I could include in this post, but here is a small sampling for those who may not have heard or seen these on their favorite form of media:
Trump on a way to mitigate the effects of Hurricanes by dropping nuclear bombs into the eye: "[Hurricanes] start forming off the coast of Africa, as they're moving across the Atlantic, we drop a bomb inside the eye of the hurricane and it disrupts it. Why can't we do that?"
Trump using his amazing ability of scientific reasoning: "All I know about magnets is this, give me a glass of water, let me drop it on the magnets, that’s the end of the magnets."
Trump: The closest thing is in 1917, they say, the great pandemic. It certainly was a terrible thing where they lost anywhere from 50 to 100 million people. Probably ended the Second World War. All the soldiers were sick.
Trump at the start of Covid: "We had 15 coronavirus cases. Within a couple of days, it’s going to be down to close to zero. One day, it’s like a miracle. It will disappear.”
Do I have to post the idiotic suggestions he made during a Covid press conference about injecting bleach into our bodies or shoving a UV light up our rear ends? That one would be #1 if we were to rate them.
Trump on having Covid: "I tested positively toward negative."
Trump on the Fourth of July: “Our army manned the air, it rammed the ramparts, it took over the airports, it did everything it had to do, and at Fort McHenry, under the rockets’ red glare, it had nothing but victory,”
And last. but not least, is this fine Trump sentence (using only the best words, btw) showcasing Trump's magnificent brain and train of thought"
"Look, having nuclear—my uncle was a great professor and scientist and engineer, Dr. John Trump at MIT; good genes, very good genes, OK, very smart, the Wharton School of Finance, very good, very smart—you know, if you’re a conservative Republican, if I were a liberal, if, like, OK, if I ran as a liberal Democrat, they would say I'm one of the smartest people anywhere in the world—it’s true!—but when you're a conservative Republican they try—oh, do they do a number—that’s why I always start off: Went to Wharton, was a good student, went there, went there, did this, built a fortune—you know I have to give my like credentials all the time, because we’re a little disadvantaged—but you look at the nuclear deal, the thing that really bothers me—it would have been so easy, and it’s not as important as these lives are (nuclear is powerful; my uncle explained that to me many, many years ago, the power and that was 35 years ago; he would explain the power of what's going to happen and he was right—who would have thought?), but when you look at what's going on with the four prisoners—now it used to be three, now it’s four—but when it was three and even now, I would have said it's all in the messenger; fellas, and it is fellas because, you know, they don't, they haven’t figured that the women are smarter right now than the men, so, you know, it’s gonna take them about another 150 years—but the Persians are great negotiators, the Iranians are great negotiators, so, and they, they just killed, they just killed us."
