They'll sell there but they will continue to be made here...

I think you mean to say "assembled" here? They have not been made here in some years. Much like the all american harley.....last time I checked about 65% of the parts were made elsewhere.....Likely higher now.

Romney reveals his crazy Religious views

Posted By Greg Shaffer

I will concede he isnt perfect lol.....far from it in fact. Its also a fact that a non-religious candidate would not stand much of a chance, even Obama pretends to be a Christian lol. I picked Romney soley because I consider him the lesser of two evils for the economy.

If you're voting for Romney I recommend watching this. It'll give you an idea of the religious beliefs that Romney holds with all his heart. He's a religious nut-bag which I always knew, but frankly, I'll take the secularist Obama.

Let us begin a new.

Well said......

We are still going to fail as a nation regardless of who won the election. Its not a political problem but rather a mathematical one so we might as well join hands and go down singing the star spangled banner smile

As if the president had never been the president and he is new and fresh and full of hope and new ideas for setting straight awful wrongs in this country.

Let us unite as Americans and fellow amature astronomers. We all use different means to gain the same rewards in viewing the heavens. Is the refractor guy better then the reflector or compound instrument guy at gaining the greatest enjoyment out of the wonders of the universe?

No...I say lets enjoy today while it is still called today and allow the new president to show us what he has brought to the table of liberty and freedom, for the advancement of our country.

Let us move *forward*, never to shed off our moral convictions for compromise...but rather compromise our opinions for the greater good.

What do ya say boys...shall we shake on it, setting aside pride...or shall we continue to hate one another...people whom we have never met(In most cases)in *revenge* or embrace out of *love of country*? 8)

Hostess

Posted By Greg Shaffer

Sounds to me like they saw the handwriting on the wall sometime in the last year or so and knew the company could not survive Obama along with all its other issues.....and made their preparations to leave with all they could muster out of it.....dirty pool but smart.

It's far too simplistic to simply blame unions for the demise of Hostess. Dwindling demand, mismanagement, and a huge debt played roles. Interesting that they also recently tripled the salary of their CEO (from $750,000 to $2,500,000), and other management folks.

Anybody notice how few ads are showing up in this category? Might it be because advertisers think the numerous sponsor announcements clutter up that category so much that it might discourage people from perusing it? Could they be right? Just saying. wink

GOP: Cut Medicare/Social Security

Posted By Greg Shaffer

Reality will set in soon......EVERYONE is going to feel it when it does.

Rod Kaufman said:

As usual, the post election shows the GOP to live up to its true colors by proposing cuts in social security and medicare. The GOP was accusing Obama of cutting the latter, right us to the day of the election. I don't know who got more of the geriatric vote in the election but I hope they hear what the GOP is proposing for the fiscal cliff:
