FYI: The mayor of San Francisco 15 years ago was Gavin Newsom and the DA was Kamala Harris.

Although it pales in comparison, I read the forums on CN and the number of trolls and the people who feed them because they can't recognize them is, in its own echo chamber, just as irritating.

I dunno, I have lots of friends on CN, but these days I only inhabit the OT forum and sometimes the science, star party, or ATM forums. I've never had a problem with anyone there as the moderating is the exact opposite of this place. The past few years here it seems like anything goes, but if you even slightly mention politics or any other of the verboten subjects on CN you will be admonished or the thread will be locked pretty quick. Never noticed any trolls there, and if there are one or two that are obnoxious I just ignore them. I particularly like the NFL thread except for the endless posts about the Bears or Packers.

Besides, other than this political forum, if you post or ask a question in any of the astronomy forums, or any of the other forums on AM you'll be waiting a long time for a response or an answer. The other forums here died a long time ago and doubt they are coming back. If you want to talk astronomy there is little else to choose from besides CN.

Well, it wasn't really for you. It was for any folks with half a brain who say they don't like the man, but they like his policies. I want independents and real republicans to see the McMaster's interview. You and I don't need any convincing.
